tgags123 : I'm not a fan of Hillary in particular, but I'd like to deconstruct your original post with a neutral point of view.

"While I don't think she would be as horrible as Obama (I don't think that is even possible)"
There are plenty of people that could be a worse president. We could easily elect someone that causes mutually assured destruction or total governmental collapse. Things aren't great, but they could be worse.

"First off, she is just plain stupid. Not just her political views, I mean in general. I am pretty sure my cat has a higher IQ than her."
I won't argue this, but it would be nice if you could provide examples. Also IQ tests are not representative of intelligence, just memory and problem solving. In addition to this, cats can't take IQ tests in the first place.

"Second, she tried to hide the truth about Benghazi, and when she was asked about it, she replied "What difference does it make?" Not only is she trying to hide things from the American people, she openly admitted that she does not care about the American people."
When did she "openly admit" it? Beside that, it's a fair argument.

"Hillary also did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING as Secretary of State. Why would she do any better as president?"
I would like to point out that Secretary of State is very limited in power. Most of what the Secretary of State does is on the President's orders. With that said, this is a fair point unless someone can provide examples to the contrary.

"And last but not least, she is part of the Democratic Party."
Which, though debatable in its merits, is in and of itself not a crime. Political party should not determine someone's qualifications and abilities.

She seems pretty deceitful, and last time she ran she let her husband do all her campaigning.
On those grounds alone, she would be a terrible president.
That being said, if her opponents were anything like they have been in the last few elections, she'd probably still win. More brains on a cheese sandwich.

Hilary would be a brilliant administrator. And that's exactly why I won't vote for her. She sits at the opposite side of nearly every political opinion I have.

sop281 : I was following the early part of the conversation with interest until you said abortion is a viable method of birth control.

That about did it for me.  I can't take anything else seriously that comes from you.

And I would not vote for Hillary Clinton.

She voted for the Patriot Act Twice.

She supports the Defense of Marriage Act that prevents the Federal Gov't from recognizing national marriages between homosexuals.

She voted to invade Iraq in 2003.

She hasn't actually done anything of positive consequence despite traveling the globe the last several years.

I could give more.  I don't think she's a good person to lead our country.  I don't care that she's on the liberal side or she's a woman.  The best person should run and be elected.  She isn't even close the best the Democrats can provide.

Yes I would, because unlike most of you, I actually am old enough to vote, do my own research, understand how our government works and how it is supposed to work (hint hint, Congress acting like children is not part of that), and don't get all my facts from my parents or Fox News (who have been caught openly lying to their viewers to increase ratings).

Now, my actual vote will depend on more factors, like the Democratic primary. If there is a better candidate than Hillary (IF she runs, since it is not official yet), then I may vote for them instead. That is what happened in 2008 when I voted for Obama because I felt that he was the better candidate. I know my husband would vote for Biden if he ran... so nothing is set in stone. It is one of the nice things about our elections, nothing is set in stone.

probly not i dont mean to sound sextist but i dont really want a woman president i some speak from experience because my boss was a male and it was fair wages for fair work he knew what was possible to get done he knew what to expect and the business i work for was doing amazing then he left and was replaced by another male once again he knew what to expect and still the business was doing amazing and then we got a female manager and there is absolutely no pleasing her no matter what we do no matter how hard we work and the business is falling apart just my personal experience so no i dont want a woman president

note the boss changes happened all with in a two year period and when it was handed over to the woman boss we were at an all time high and going strong until about a month after she got there

i dont know much about politics but if its any thing like running a business i would not want a woman in the white house just based on my personal experience they are way to emotional and there is no pleasing they fixate on little things instead of looking at the big picture them but like i said i need more information on what she plans to do if she gets into office

once again i am not sextist just speaking from personal experince
