Hmm, well I haven't watched much horror movies, cuz well I can find them ridiculous rather than scary(disfigured living beings showing off, toying with normal people and killing-for-pleasure... very scary?). I think Evil Dead counts as horror movie, so yeah that's my favorite horror movie. While I like it's sequels more, but well they are not much horror, or more to the side of comedy(if you are talking about the sequel, which you can't tell for sure if it's sequel or not) or you could just come up with an epic hero-of-the-people story(direct sequel... of the sequel)

the two horror movies that I recently enjoyed so far were the first one was the Silent Hill series, I love that series I think it was one of the best game adaptations ever, I like Mortal Kombat 1 thought that was pretty well done. But Silent Hill blows that out of the water. The other movie or series I should say is Saw I love the story and twists of that series.

I enjoy watching horror movies period so if I was to list horror movies I loved we will be here all day so I will list some of my favorite

1) The Babadook: I watch allot of horror movies and I do mean allot not many of them can scare me but this movie is hands down one of the scariest movies I ever seen.

2) Final Destination 1-5 : This is one of my favorite and I think greatest horror movie franchises of all time for two reasons it is a realistic horror movie more then fantasy and can't forget the fact I am the main character

3) Zombieland: There is only one thing better then a really scary horror movie and that is a funny one.

4) The Collector: This is one of the only horror movies that I seen that I can actually watch more then once

5) Arachnophobia : This is one of my favorite movies of all time because it is a great spider movie with a great story and acting and for a movie about killer spiders that is pretty rare in fact for a horror movie it is also pretty rare.

Awesome pick with Arachnophobia, TheReaper7290!

I'm going to have to say I really like 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later.  I always enjoy a good zombie film, and I like the way the sequel deals with the same outbreak months later, using the same number, 28.

It's kind of cool to think about the topic of epidemiology and look beyond the locale of one group of survivors and see how this zombie scenario affected the whole globe.

If anyone out there loves a good B-movie slasher type of film with a little Science Fiction in it, check out Chopping Mall.  It's got the suspense and gore with just enough hilarity to make it pretty enjoyable and not too scary or creepy for sensitive viewers.

I used to love horror movies but as the years have gone by I get to where I like them less and less. Most of them are just blood and gore with not much else to speak of. For a horror movie I prefer the ones that are not that bloody and concentrate more on the story they are trying to tell through the movie. Off the top of my head I would have to say my picks for horror movies are : The Exorcist, Damien : The Omen, and the Japanese horror movie -> Dark Water.

I don't watch that many horror movies. Not because I am scared of them, but because they just don't appeal to me very much. I did, however, watch and enjoy The Purge. It was kind of creepy, had a pretty good story. Not anything HUGE, but it was good.

I love all horror movies some much more than others, however it depends on the person and what scares them. I have seen most good horror flicks so ill give some examples of good ones for sicko killers I have to go with house of 1000 corpses and pretty much any rob zombie film. If you hate spiders eight legged freaks is the funniest scary movie I know. Zombie got to go with any of the resident evil movies for demons hell-raiser series for monster aliens, and for vampires queen of the dammed. Werewolf's is the ginger snaps movies,13 ghost's for ghost movie and for creepy little creatures don't be afraid of the dark.

When I was a kid, about 6 or 7 I was terrified of horror movies, in fact we had this VHS tape that had several movies recorded on it and at the end of the tape was Ghostbusters, one of my favorite movies.  But to get to that movie I would have to fast forward through Pet Semetery and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre which I always dreaded.  Just the idea of catching a glimpse of either of those movies would make me panic. (yeah I was a little wimp)

As I got older I became far less afraid of horror movies, but I still stayed away from them, they just weren't my thing.  I stayed that way until I was about 12 when on Halloween night I was flipping through the TV looking for something to watch when I came upon the USA network playing Halloween. Now I had never even heard of Halloween, I knew about Freddy and Jason but not Michael Myers.  Well it was at the very beginning When Loomis and the nurse are driving to the mental hospital in the rain and for whatever reason I was hooked and before I knew it I had watch the whole movie and I LOVED IT!  And to my surprise there was a SEQUEL and it was on NEXT!

I Watched both movies that night and fell in love with a movie genre that has became my favorite.  I spent the rest of my teenage years obsessed with horror movies and to this day Halloween is my 2nd all time favorite movie right behind George Romero's Dawn of the Dead.  My shelves are now packed with horror movies spanning from the 1930's 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's 00's to now.

Well I couldn't really begin to name any that I have enjoyed because I have seen ALOT... I enjoy almost all of them but the only thing is sense I have watched so many horror movies my body is immune to all scary movies... nothing really scares me when it comes to movies. I liked a lot of the older classics and I like the newer horror movies as well. Everything Zombie I have seen... almost all apocalyptic movies.. I have seen tons of physiological movies.. murder ..crimes, supernatural etc.. u name it I have probably seen it. I guess the ones I enjoyed most were The Final Destination movies though to answer your question.
