Other than the PC version exists the XBOX 360 and One version and the PlayStation 3 and 4 version.
However there is one that will baffle us in 7/10/14 when that version gets what Mojang considers its biggest update...
Ladies and gentlemen!
Minecraft Pocket Edition!
Ok we all know for the beggining that Minecraft PE was not superior compared to the other versions.
However on 7/10/14 one of the most awaited updates for Minecraft PE will make its away to the App Store.
So then...

So now...
You will be hearing my opinions of Minecraft PE 0.9.0
In the beggining there was only Minecraft for the PC only that nothing more!
Then came XBOX 360 and PE and One and PS3 and finally PS4
However!
PE was very underrated because of it was basically in Classic style not in Indev and Infdev style.
Also there was no caves or anything and little luck of lava so it made it impossible to get Obsidian and worst of all there was no multiplayer! (There was but it was hard to set a server and yes there exists an un-official app to make the game have multiplayer)
However Mojang will promise a big change in the new update.
So lets go over what they will add...

Infinite Worlds:
Now in the history of Minecraft for the PC there was Indev and Infdev.
At this point they began to generate random, but infinite worlds.
However if you manage to get to end of the infinity.
You will reach what is known as the Far Lands.
Now the Far Lands are actually a glitch caused by the world generator.
At some point it must had malfunctioned and caused the Far Lands.
However when Notch discovered this flaw he decided not to bother fix it, however he did remove the Far Lands and replaced it with nothing, but water.
If you manage to get here you might get serious lag and eventually crash the game.
So I have a doubt that a Android or even an Apple device can resist this.
It might be possible, but take Roblox for iPad for example.
Now Roblox's basic world is not random its just a little basic baseplate but the world is infinite now in these worlds you can built more and more and more!
Now there doesn't exist Roblox Studio for the iPad but what about the already built worlds or games if you will?
Well some games won't even work properly on the iPad and might even cause the app to crash.
So will this fatal flaw happen to MCPE too?

Caves:
Like in the PC version it will have caves too and to be honest I am not a fan of caves...
However for fearless players I guess it would be something great for them!
I have no problem with this anyways...
Also I don't see a way that the caves can mess up the game...
After all, Minecraft was going to be originally called "The Cave Game"
New Blocks and Items:
Mojang hasn't confirmed anything about the new blocks and items other than Monster Eggs and Big Mushroom Blocks.
However if there is going to be any big mushrooms theres got to be Mycelium right?

Wolves:
So Steve's best friend will finally arrive huh?
Well thats good I can finally have some company!
New Flowers:
Ok now we are talking about decorations!
I have no problem with it!
Really I don't!
At least that means more dyes!
Except Ink Sacks...

New Mobs:
No Ink Sacks huh?
Well we don't know if Endermen and Mooshrooms are the only making it into the game.
Personally I hate Endermen they just get mad at everything like really!
One time I got attacked by them just by minding my own buisness!
However if there is Endermen there is going to be some Ender Pearls am I right?
Ok I have no problem with Mooshrooms they are the most creative animal I have ever seen!


New Biomes:
Only Mesas, Jungles, Swamps, and Extreme Hills are confirmed to be in the update.
I was expecting Mushroom Islands since Mooshrooms and Big Mushrooms will be in the game
Or maybe there might be Roofed Forests?
Or maybe both Roofed Forests and Mushroom Islands?
Hmmm....
Oh right!
If there is going to be Extreme Hills there might be you know...
SILVERFISH!

Generated Structures:
Mineshafts and Villages are confirmed. Mojang confirms other cool places to explore but we aren't sure what are the other cool places.
Or do we?
Well there is going to be jungles so there might be Jungle Temples.
If there is going to be Swamps there might be Witch Huts and there might be Withces too!
Finally if there is Mineshafts there might be...
OH NO!
CAVE SPIDERS AND MONSTER SPAWNERS!

New "Interaction" Button:
Basically its the "Use Item" Button.
I can see why they are adding this.
SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUNCH A SHEEP AGAIN THATS WHY!
Seriously...
What if there wasn't this and you wanted to tame a Wolf
TELL ME NOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN!

Miscellanous:
Finally according to Mojang there will be Lakes and these things called Monster Rooms...
Hmm...
You mean Dungeons?
SO THERE WILL BE MONSTER SPAWNERS
Also there are some bug fixes, but I won't go into detail what they fixed

Conclusion:
In conclusion this might be the best update ever!
So in 7/10/14 is when PE comes out of Classic style!
However I really wanted to see some commands for this version, but that is until they add Multiplayer!

Fantastic! That was really my worst qualm with the pocket edition. I didn't enjoy the controls, but the limited world size was what really ruined it for me, even though it currently isn't -that- small, per se.

Also, your countdown link doesn't seem to work =P

When I first heard about what 0.9.0 was going to contain, I was like "Mother of Notch" (Minecraft-reference). I have been waiting for this update for like months, and with everything it contains, it's just so awesome.

The reason why I think that, it's because whenever I'm on break during my lunch or on the road (when I ain't driving), I can just get on my iPod and just start playing a lot more Minecraft and I won't have such a small place to explore, and with more Biomes (all the biomes added in PC 1.7). And the biggest thing I like is the Generated Structures and caves added in as well because with me, I sometimes don't have the time or just too lazy to dig around to find all the ores, and also, it's more fun with caves than no caves to be honest.

I just want to say that this is the best update that Mojang has made for the Pocket Edition, and I think personally, this will bring more sales to them for the Pocket Edition.
