I have seen that optical illusion before. I was at a Biology trip and the guy in charge showed us that illusion. It was interesting to see but only me and a few others knew what it was.

I must be weird or something, because I hardly saw any difference in color. There may have been a slight yellowish green tint to it, but that was all! It's a cool illusion, never the less, and I thank you very much for showing it off.

I did this a long time ago but I can't remember if my result was different from then. But the result does change a bit depending on how many times you try it. In the beginning I saw reddish brown in the middle, after a few tries only grey, and now that I tried for a fifth time or so I see dark blue!
