I mainly signed up for vizzed because I loved games, and it felt like my own facebook (don't ask) but yeah, I love the fact that so many people are willing to contribute to the gaming media, HATS OFF TO VIZZED! *salute*

I know I've seen a thread like this before, but I can't find it.

I signed up for the same reason that most of this site signed up - free games, specifically Pokemon. Actually, I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for GBA games. I would still be using PlayR.

I signed up for Vizzed most likely due to the fact that I was bored and that I wanted to play an old game. More than likely related to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise...I think it was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 but I really can't be 100 percent certain.

Honestly though it's weird to think that I joined for the games and now all I've done for the last 2-3 years is basically enjoy the forums and threads and now I basically ignore the game section of this site.

It all started when my NES system finally stopped working altogether. I thought "Hey, I wonder what'll happen if I search for another system on the Internet." Long story short, this website was the first one to show up in the search field. Obviously, it didn't offer the console, but I quickly found out that I didn't need it. Just about every NES game ever made is available on this website. Once I looked over the website, going to different pages and seeing what else it offered, I decided to join up and become a member. That's how it happened, and now I'm hooked!

I've always said that I'm able to join a new forum, where nobody knows me, and become a known member of the community by most people - Doing it on this forum is, probably, one of the biggest challenges because of how big the forum is and the diversity of the members.
Another reason, and primarily, is because I really enjoyed the look of this forum and knew it'd be a great community to be apart of - a place to get away from the usual hustle/bustle of Facebook/Twitter.

But I got bored off the site after the FIRST day... So I checked the netplay room, and that made me stay on the site, but then the next day I was on Vizzed, I founf the boards so I wanted to make a Newbie thread. Now, I am here, pretending like I signed up for the boards.
I also am less bored of the games now though.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
