If I had a billion dollars I would...

1) Buy my mom and dad a nice house that they would own. To say thank you for all they have done for me and bringing me to life.
2) Would help out my brothers with money if they needed it for important things.
3) I would by myself an house that's just right, doesn't have to be expensive at all.
4) I would use some of the money to help me out with my carrier. I don't have any debt's or loans at the moment.
5) Donate to vizzed.
6) Travel to places I wanted to go.
Don't what else I would do, don't want to put too much thought into it since I know it will never happen.

If I have one billion dollars, first I will:
-Buy my favourite game
-Keep some for myself and maybe buy other things that I like
-Give some to my parents

And for the rest of the money:
-I will donate to vizzed
-And maybe donate some other money for other website

I would donate my 100 million to vizzed, another, 300 million would go to a good cause, (probably cancer) I would save 100 million for my family (like exclusive for paying for my family's lifestyle food, school and shelter) the remaining I would invest in stocks and business, maybe build a company if the opportunity is presented, and from the profits made from that money invested I would donate 20% percent to good causes and help my interests (I would like hook up vizzed website invest in it all that good stuff) 

I think almost everyone here is vastly underestimating how much a billion dollars is. For contrast, the average American household (not individual) lives on $50,000 a year (I've never lived above $20,000 a year that I know of, and currently three of us live on $15,000-$16,000 a year). So if they live eighty years, the average household could live very comfortably for their entire lives on about 4 million dollars. That leaves 996 million dollars for leisure. Also bear in mind that the average American household contains 2.54 (2 to 3) people, so the average American lives comfortably off of 1.6 million over the course of eighty years.

So if the average person in America lives off of 1.6 million over the course of eighty years, any of us could live unbelievably comfortably for the rest of our lives on only three to four million dollars per person in our households.


That said, I would tithe (that's ten million dollars), probably give David a two or three, give a few friends (I already know who ) two or three million each, buy a house, a car, all non-Microsoft systems (handhelds and consoles) in existence, all of the games I wanted, then give away all but maybe four or five million. And yes, a large portion of that money I gave away would be to charities that helped kids, and after that, I would start finding homeless people and giving them $300,000 or so to get started fresh with their lives.

Yeah, so I'd keep maybe five or six million total (including my initial spending spree money) and give the rest away. Why do I need a billion, or even ten million? by that point it's become a status symbol for me personally. No disrespect to the others here, as I doubt any of you meant it as a status symbol at all. I just figure we're underestimating how far a billion would go.

1 Billion Dollars...
I think I'd donate a substantial amount to charities, churches, and Vizzed, buy a nice house, a nice car, a trip to Jordan, and then...I really don't know what else to do with the rest of the money.
It's not exactly easy to decide what to do with a billion dollars.

I think I'd split it into 3 groups, personal, savings, investment. That way I won't be stupid and blow it off in a short amount of time (It's possible, trust me)

A -billion- dollars? GOSH! Are we assuming we don't have to pay taxes on these? I think it'd be too weird to have a billion dollars, honestly. I'd probably keep 10 million for myself, give each family member 50 million, give all my coworkers 5 million, and then give the rest away. I just don't know who I'd give it to. LOL Maybe I'd figure out how many teachers are all in the US and give them a bonus check? I'm sure most teachers could use the money, for one reason or another.

I would use that money help my aunts pay off all of their debts, I would pay off all of my debts. Then, I would go purchase me a nice 3 or 4 bedroom house. After that, I would buy my 3 cars that I have always wanted, and then modify them they way I would want them to be modified. Then, I would give my Mom, Dad, Stem - Mom , Step - Dad , sisters, brother, and a few other family members some money. I would put half of what I had left into the bank to support me for the rest of my life. Then, I would probably give Vizzed about a million of what is then left, give a donation to Make A Wish Foundation and Wounded Warriors Project. Then, with what I had left, I would use it to invest for my kids and their kids. I would also open up a homeless shelter as well. 

I'd use it to spend it on my college fund firstly, secondly I'd put a chunk for breast cancer research, since my Mom died from it, and the rest I would stow away for bills and life spendings. I might just keep the rest

I'd buy everything I want and need, which would be a small drop in the water, and after that I'll just live the rest of my life with the money I've got and a loving, furry, boyfriend who loves me for who I am~

But in the real world~ I'd probably just buy what I want for my hobbies (football, Yu-Gi-Oh!, cycling, furries) and what I need (house mainly, and electronic machines/gadgets). I'd be able to live the way I want to, doing the odd jobs here and there, and travel the world too~ Maybe get a boyfriend (or girlfriend, depending which way my sexuality swings when I wake up)~
