This is a layout I made a few months ago. I don't know if I already posted with it in the previous official layout test and comment thread. It is one of my favorite layouts that I made!

Edit: I will change the title and the signature of this layout to "Mario and Yoshi" because that is better than what it is now.

I got a really mad kangaroo on my layout......I want your opinion on my layout NOW!

You know that capital font that you've been using for your past few layouts, including this one? It really does work with the anger of the kangaroo on this one, haha. It looks fine and the colors are great.

I noticed that the font is a little small. While it isn't that much of a struggle to read for me, it might for others.

It looks great! Looking back at old layouts seems like such a good idea. Using new knowledge to better the older ones, nice!

Hmm, for the border of your text-box, it -might- look a little better when it matches with yoshi's light green.

Check out this change to your div tag.
div style="border:3px ridge lightgreen;width:43.9%;

In other words, try changing green to lightgreen and see whether you like the looks of it better. While I don't like light green normally, with the ridge it works well.

So just check it out, if you want, and see whether you like it better.

Testing a new layout.

I can't really be bothered with the text box right now, but I'm neutral about it anyways. I don't like text boxes that aren't centered on the y-axis (up/down), but the text box in this layout is covering the logo... opinions?

Alright here is my first Layout ever! i worked pretty hard on it hope it works and hope you guys like it

I wanted to test my black gives way to blue layout, but i wanted to test it with negative margins.

Testing the textbox stretch...

Not a long poster so it shouln't go through the bottom of the thing, yeah. too lazy to make the background stretch vertical

thinking about reversing the picture to make blue give way to black... i dunno. Also add multiple text shadow layers to make it glow in the background... maybe

EDIT: turns out that the music box is blocking one part of it, will edit that maybe
EDIT2: turns out it broke through the bottom due to multiple linebreaks added when editing
EDIT3: ugh... the edited text is huge, need to close tags

yoshirulez! : Small opinion but I think the music file would be better on the right of the text box, for what my thoughts are worth.

If you don't reverse the background, I think a little blue glow on the text (make sure the text is still readable) would be pretty neat. Kind of how I have a small white glow with my white text.

Galacta : Hopefully it doesn't glow too much, and is readable. I'm a novice when it comes to text shadow so yeah.



Moved the audio box, and made some changes so the edit text would look smaller



Thinking about shrinking the minimum size of the text box but I'm not sure, I can never make up my mind when it comes to this stuff

Edit test... May decide to incorporate the glow into the non-negative margin layout one.

Did some testing already with stretch and stuff seemed to work correctly but now must see if it works well for others since I too lazy to check other browsers.. Also can people tell what they think of the quote I added to signature?

Well..this is a rare layout i made...you would often never see me with layout of a pic like this...but its too cute.

yoshirulez! : I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with Galacta on the music file and say it should be at the bottom.

pokemon x : I don't know where the image is from, but with no reference, I think it works well with the image. Agreement or disagreement with the quote aside, of course.

New layout. I've been going layoutless for some time now but no more!

It's looking fine so far. I've run some tests and I think it's ready for use.

Let's give this nice layout another try now that I've edited it.

Also, the layout looks really nice! You could potentially mess with the red shade of your text-box, if you wanted it to be a closer match to the shade of the symbol or the character's eyes.

If you wanted to, you could make slight adjustments to percentages to make the text-box more centered. It's no big deal, though.
