My social life really isn't all that great, I am an introvert and I don't really talk to people unless they are my friends. I am rather cold and quiet at school or whenever I am with other people outside of my family. I have a close knit group of friends that I talk or text, and I also try to have/make at least 1 or 2 friends in each of my classes so I am not completely isolated.

I have never been one to like attention and I absolutely hate being in the spotlight. Sometimes my parents or even my friends complain, or just note how quiet I am, or why I never say anything, I don't do it on purpose, it is just the way I am, I am more of a listen and observe type person rather than one that talks a lot. Most of the kids in my school are ignorant and childish anyway, so it really doesn't make the best options for friend material to begin with. 

Even on the internet, I am a member of only a few forums including vizzed and that's about it. I don't have facebook, twitter, I don't do instagram or any kind of social media because I don't see the point, and it is just a waste of time from my perspective because you could really put that time into doing something useful. 

So yeah, my social life is pretty limited and quiet with few friends and I kind of hope to keep it that way....

Well, I have some close friends, but our interaction is pretty limited, and I rarely see them outside of school. However, I'm one of those guys whose on every one's good side.... because I'm just that awesome. 

Really, though, I interact with most people at my school and we all get along pretty well (guys up here are shockingly tolerant and friendly).

Well my social life is pretty active usually. I'm always either at a friends house or at a movie or something like that. I just recently was in a relationship and she was the first girl I really did love, ya know? But she died in a car crash. I was usually the kind of guy that had a new girlfriend every week. So for me that was a real big thing but it's all over now. I have two cats which kind of makes me the crazy cat dude i guess. lol

My social life is garbage. Theres only one person other than my family I talk to and its a 9 year old girl who likes to try to tear my arm off, rip my shirt off and chase me around the house.

When ever someone knocks on the door I turn up music really loud so I can't hear them knocking.
When they knock on the door and I dont have music I hide in my brothers room...

The last friendship I had ended with some rather colorful language.

For me it’s relatively boring.  I spend most of my time writing material and when I’m not writing, covering something, or checking my social pages, I try to spend a lot of my downtime resting.  As for what I do during downtime, I like watching my streaming services and such.  It’s relatively boring.  If I could afford to and had the time I wouldn’t mind going to games, depending on the sport and I also wouldn’t mind traveling occasionally.

As a writer, do you ever go out with friends to gain inspiration?  That'd be some social life, right?

I would like to, but like I said I spend most of my time writing.  Most of the time my self-imposed schedule is week to week.  I spend time either preparing to cover a card, or covering a card.  Basically I’ll get done with a card and then I’ll go into preparing for whatever is going on the next week and so on.  On most weeks I try to cover two to three cards if possible.

 

It can be exhausting at times. Covering Boxing there is no season, so I basically go from shortly after the new year right on through Christmas.  I may get a few weeks during the year when there isn’t much going on due to cancellations or postponements, but there isn’t too many “light” weeks as I call them during the year. A few years ago there was a stretch of almost six weeks where cards that were scheduled got pushed back due to postponements, etc.  It was the last time with the exception of Christmas that I let myself take a break for most of that time. 

 

I would love to get together with friends of mine semi-regularly if possible.  Part of the problem is when my friends are free, I’m busy and when I have some downtime and aren’t trying to recoup, they are busy.  There are a few friends of mine who have gotten on my case about my work ethic and not giving myself time.  Most of them aren’t writers and don’t understand what a writer has to do in order to not only write solid material, but the time it takes.

 

When friends get on me about it I try to not let it bother me in that I try not to feel insulted, etc.  I do put myself through more than most probably do admittedly, but it’s all part of paying your dues.  I have always thought of it as if you want to succeed at anything, you need to commit yourself 100%. 

 

Hopefully I will be able to lighten my schedule a little in time.  For now I try to do as much as possible.  I would imagine teachers have a similar struggle.  Even though my experience with schools wasn’t always pleasant, I do respect what teachers have to go through because it can’t be an easy vocation between the hours in the schools, preparing lessons, and whatever goes on in their lives. I would imagine whenever teachers get a chance to have some downtime, they probably look to get as much rest as they can.  It has to be exhausting. 

It all really depends on how that week is going. Sometimes I will have nothing to do other than work, but then there are times when I have a lot of plans. Most of the time it's spending time with family, family is really important to me. I haven't been out with my friends in awhile but that's because we're all always so busy with other things.

I do talk to them on the phone quite often, but I don't think that counts as in person socialization. LOL.

A lot of the time, I watch movies with my sister, or play games with my family. A lot of the time I go out and eat or go to the salon with my Mom and sister. Unless I'm not feeling well, then I don't go anywhere. My life isn't like one steady pace, it's always shifting around.

My social life is usually revolving around Yu-Gi-Oh!, football training, and furries. Having too much free time means I'm usually at home waiting for something to happen, or a day to come when I've got one of my hobbies to do. The rest of the time you can either find me on Facebook, making sure my mail-trading group doesn't have any problems, or on Twitter talking to people~

My non-digital social life is kind of nonexistent. So far, throughout this summer, all I have done is go on walks, go out at random places with family, and stay home. I also had spent time away from my digital social life to recover from a few sickness. There's nothing much going on in my non-digital social life.

My non-digital social life is usually that I talk with my family at home or my friends at school. Sometimes I spend time with my friends but usually I like to be by myself. I'm not very social person, so I guess I just wait at home that my friends call me or something like that.

My non digital social life is not that great but i dont mind it. Best friend is out of state going to college in Chicago and plans on traveling as a missionary so its hard talking to them only through Facebook. I usually spend my time alone or with my mother. 

My social life is pretty good outside of the internet. In school, I have lots of good friends, and a good amount of other ones. I'm going to probably join a club in the fall, and I'm going to do snowboarding in winter and tennis in spring, so I'm sure I'll get more friends that way. Outside of school, I don't really hang out with people much. I try to hang out with friends when I can, but I don't often. I'm going to try to do that more. But I do text my friends a lot after school, if that counts .
