I never record how much i play games but i almost always do it for 2+ hours. but mother 3 caught my attention for weeks. and i would play it for 4-7 hours.

Once I actually did play World of Warcraft for a full 27 hours before actually doing anything else, I've also managed to get around that time on a few other games, notably Pokemon: Fire Red, Destroy All Humans, and Star Wars Battlefront. It's really not a great feeling, despite playing the games that I liked, I would always feel brain-dead the day after and rather dehydrated as well as hungry afterwards simply from the lack of doing anything besides sitting around and playing games. I'm pretty sure my parents got mad at me too, for staying up forever and playing video games the whole time.

Well maybe for about 7 hours because I have to eat. I think the game I played was either Oblivion or Skyrim.

I've put in over 100 hours in a 7 day period playing either one or more video games... many many times. Longest period of time playing a game without sleep? pfft, I'm not even sure. Over 30 hours for sure, usually being awake for any longer than that is too painful to keep playing anymore. There are few times I've spent more than 30 hours playing video games. How much more than 30 hours in one sitting?... that's a good question... to which I don't have an answer. I haven't played a game for that long in one sitting for nearly 10 years now.
I tend to stay away from MMORPG's nowadays... for the sake of getting things done in life. Even Console based RPG's. I used to put 100's of hours into every RPG I ever played. FF7, Legend of Legaia, Star Ocean (til the end of time/eternal blue/etc.), Breath of fire 1 2 3.... way too many RPG's to list. More importantly... wayyyy too much time spent on video games in general. Be smart kids. Anymore than 4 hours spent on any one game at any one time is FAR too much time that could be much better spent on furthering your goals in life.
Unless you truly intend to be an MLG Gamer. Otherwise... go hit the books. Don't worry about getting 100% completion in a game (95% of the time it isn't worth it anyway). Don't worry about getting all the gamer points in a game. Just play to have fun. And do so in moderation.
With all that being said. I LOVE VIDEO GAMES and it would make me a hypocrite to judge anyone that does spend LONG periods of time on video games. Play to your hearts content, so long as you have everything else sowed up in your life already.

Hmmm, well in one sitting I think the most I have ever put in was probably 6-7 hours or so, but nothing more because that is too much. Now I might play about 2 to 3 in one sitting and take breaks in between and do other stuff and maybe come back to play later on in the day before going to bed. I try to limit myself, but sometimes it gets the better of me because it is addicting! Good question by the way, I know there are some hard core gamers out there! 

The longest I have sat and played a game for was about 20 hours. Only breaking to go to the bathroom and answer the door for the pizza man. I was playing "Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patriots" The story was really good even though the amount of game play in the game itself was very short. But I always play my Metal Gear's in one sitting. The only reason I wasn't able to complete it was I fell asleep during one of the half an hour cut scenes. This game was more like watching an interactive movie even though I think when I started keeping track the only actual amount of game play that I played was about 2 hours. I was disappointed in this and it kind of made it boring but I was very happy that the story finished up. I had been waiting a long time for that.

My longest sitting of gaming without getting up is probably around 12 hours. Not a huge amount of time compared to some but I think it's pretty respectable I've done that with a few different games including Skyrim, Dark souls, and a few other random games. I used to beat all my games in one sitting

Probably close to ten hours, although I have never timed my sessions. It was Borderlands 2 on the PS3, with my session toggled to public so other people could join and I could lvl faster. I was home alone with nothing to do so what could my parents expect?

The longest time that I've played a video game in one sitting was about three hours. I believe that I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on my GameCube. My eyes are somewhat sensitive, so if I look at games for long periods of time (2-3 hours), I start to get pretty bad headaches. I wanted to play it for a longer amount of time, but I just didn't want to deal with an extremely painful headache.

Longest time I've played a video game would probably be around 10 - 12 hours. Longest time I've played in an MMO definitely over a day. I did it twice but I haven't done it since. I'm not much of an MMO player anymore. I stick with console games mainly.

I've played Elsword for 8.5+ hours. During that much game time, I was able to get my little Elboy to a Level 40 Rune Slayer. I was also able to get another Elboy to a level 32 Sheath Knight that's about to be an Infinity Sword.

I've played 10 hours in a row one time with my friend.  It was over the game Xenogears we just couldn't stop.  Until her mother found out and shut the power off in our room lol!

Ha ha me and my friend had a day off so we played Minecraft, Saints Row The Third and Payday 2 for 9 hours. It was a fun day but everything was boring after that XD. But thats about the longest time I've played video games for.For a single game iI think I played Mine craft for about 4 hours and Team Fortress 2 for 4 hours. Although TF2 is pretty boring for me now.

For Tales of Vesperia, played for 18 hours straight and for Dark Souls, 16 hours. I don't out much and I don't like people so I have a lot of time to myself. 

I clearly remember the first time I ever stayed awake overnight, I had rented Super Mario RPG for the NES and started a game sometime in the evening, when I got around to looking at the clock near my bed it was about 5 A.M time had flown by so fast I hadn't even realized. I was 11 or 12 years old.

I have played a lot of RPG game but specially Final Fantasy X 200 hours... I love this game and Yuna lol ^^

I grew up playing this MMO Disney game called Toontown Online. It was what essentially brought me to my addiction to the internet. My record is probably about 14 hours playing that. I woke up at around 8:00 AM and played until probably 10:00 PM. I know, I'm a bad boy.

But does that count? After all, it's not really a game (it's a somewhat free MMO). The longest time I've played video games in one sitting? Dude, I don't know. I think I played Super Mario World for about 12 hours once. That was a really fun day, trying to get those 96 exits for the first time.
