I am not sure if there is a limit because I can always edit my posts usually as much as I want. The only time I know of when i can't edit them is if the thread is closed or trashed. But other than that I am always able to edit them whenever I want. I am not sure if there is a limit to doing that, because if so I haven't reached it. There might be a limit, but I have yet to reach it.

If it is important then I would just wait until tomorrow to see if you are able to edit it or not. Hopefully you are able to.

So it's a limit for a lot of members, and If you look at the cp stats: (You can even see that staff themselves have their fair share of editing limits, for their own post, and others.) I'm not sure of the exact amount, but there's a limit. that much I know. Hope this helps out.
