Problem with DS saves

Hi, I'm not particularly tech savvy so I need some help with this DS emu the no$gba-w_2.6a

I know its been said that you would be able to save with this one but I can't. If I save states or just do a normal in game save I can't load it up again.

It always says that the file has crashed.

I wish I could help you but Ive never had problems saving with Nocashgba. I had a google search but turned up nothing, perhaps DH will know.

Nothing I have heard of happening by itself, did you change any settings in No$?
Thats one thing that if you changed the battery settings from auto to something else it wont read saves for certain games.

Ok it saves now, not sure what the problem was at first. The only thing I did different was move the rom. I had it in a separate folder, then moved it in the same folder as the emulator. I don't know if that was the problem but it saves now.


Though now I have a new problem lol.

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this with pokemon (Pearl and Diamond), but at the start of the game, after you choose a pokemon and fight starly the game freezes. Right at the point where you defeat the starly the game just freezes.

To answer some questions no I didn't change any settings aside from controls and thats it.

That was the problem, if you move the rom you have to make sure you move its save file (normaly called the same name as the game with a .sav at the end) as well because the emulator reads the save where it stored it the first time

The freezing might have something to do with your computer not being strong enough maybe?
If you still have the Pokemon games archive (.rar .zip or .7z) you can make sure the archive downloaded ok by right clicking the archive and selecting test archive from the menu.
I'll have to test the game on my end as well and make sure No$ can run it properly, I will look at getting a second DS emulator on GYR when I'm able as well.

The game actually runs quite smoothly, even during the battle.

I can't think of a reason why it would do this. Before the saving issue I was able to get past that point, which was my first time playing the game.
