The problem is that it is hard to implement new ideas for a game that has been so popular for more than a decade. If the game makes a drastic change a lot of Pokémon fans will get angered because It won't "feel" like if it was a Pokémon game

I agree with Nintendo running out of ideas for Pokemon based on the look of it. There are a bunch of Pokemon that just look similar to each other like the Pikachu and Pikachu clones. There are 718 Pokemon listed so far which is a BIG list and it seems like there won't be more good unique ideas for Pokemon creations.
Despite of what I think about Nintendo running out of ideas for Pokemon, I will still be willing to play Pokemon as weird as that seems. As long as they keep Pokemon fun, enjoyable, and popular, Pokemon will go off a little bit longer.

Not really. I can see where people come from, Pokemon like Klefki and Bunnelby might not seem original. However, in the new generation (Gen VI)has some really cool amazing Pokemon. Chesnaught, Aegislash, Barbaracle, some really good Pokemon. Every generation has their unoriginal, ugly and original, cool looking Pokemon. Let's take Generation I for example. A ton of amazing original Pokemon like Charizard, Aerodactyl, Alakazam, Machamp. However, there are unoriginal Pokemon as well. Ekans, Muk, Ditto, Rattata.
What I am saying is, every Pokemon generation has it's share of original and unoriginal Pokemon. Most Pokemon fans only focus on unoriginal Pokemon, and call the entire game "unoriginal"
It's like complaining because out of 1,000 toys, you didn't like 20 of them.

 i kinduv hate the new pokemon because they aren't as creative as the last ones i mean a key pokemon how is that supposed to be cool. and mega evolution was there because they are getting lazy and needed to spice up sales i bet. i mean i wrote down a bunch of pokemon and the worst one i made was better then their key thing

They haven't had any ideas for 2 regions. All of the ones they have In these new regions are just real life objects with faces. People make so may better ideas then Nintendo dø??. It's just sad.

Is Nintendo running out of ideas for Pokémon?, well considering Pokémon has had no real plot/story change since the first season or game which was in the Kanto region, I'd say yes Nintendo has been running out of ideas for Pokémon.  Video game wise and also the television series wise Pokémon is by far the most repetitive game out there besides Call of Duty. The Pokémon sprites look almost like what they resemble in real life, the names of the Pokémon (as well as their designs)are steadily decreasing in creativity and the plot of the Pokémon games has been repeated and practically thrown in your face so many times I fail to see why people even bother to watch the show you already know what happens. Video game wise, Gamefreak always releases a new Pokémon game pretty  much every year (except when they do remakes which kinda shows that they are running out of ideas) but  despite that with Pokémon the core gameplay is always the same, story the same, objective for playing the game the same, the only thing new is the maybe 90 new Pokémon(if that) they add to the new game when it comes out and all the rest of the Pokémon seen are just throw backs from previous generations.

So in conclusion Pokémon, repetitive plot, repetitive story, reuse of older Pokémon in newer generations, same core game play since the first couple of games in the franchise, lack of creativity among new Pokémon sprite designs and names,because of these factors I'd say Nintendo is running out of ideas for Pokémon and honestly Pokémon has had a good run but it's time for it to die.

Yes they are. With the amount of pokemon created. Gamefreak running out of ideas for new pokemon was bound to happen. The series I think ran out of ideas during gen 4/5.

Yes, they've probably been running out of ideas for a loooong time now. Just look at a lot of the gen 6 pokemon.. an iceberg pokemon? a pokemon that looks like a set of keys?

Now that's why I hate gen wunners. Go praising that flawed game series from 1995 all you want, but when you talk &@# about pokemon today is when I have a problem. Look Razor, I respect you and all, but you can't call out pokemon today without calling out your own. Iceberg? It's just an ice berg... WEEEEELLL. Pidgey, just a bird. Krabby, just a crab. Seel, I'm calling out fawfuls minion, JUST A SEAL! And then there's the garbodor discussion. I call it this because it's the main reason people hate on 5th gen. What is it? Hating on vannillish and garbodor. THAT'S IT. Just because these 2 sucked, everyone calls the ENTIRE GENERATION RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS. They just call out on these two methods of hate fuel and ignorantly block out all other 154 pokemon. What else did we get in gen 5? Lesee here, zoroark, accelgor, escavalier, the genie trio, swords of justice, reshiram, zekrom, kyurem, and his two forms, volcarona, genesect, krookodile, scrafty, reuniclus, sygilyph, musharna, and any others I'd missed. Even gen 6 did some things right with mega-evolutions, JUST LOOK AT GERCHOMP'S (gerchomp? am I a hillbilly?). We also got goodra, tyrantrum, auroras, pangoro, meowstic, and aegislash, so if anything we've been going up in the world. Though, with only 72 pokemon (including diancie, volcanion, and hoopa) people say this proves the series ran out of ideas... so maybe they're right?

Actually I think many of the new generation pokemon are more original then the old ones. I mean a lot of 1st generation Pokemon were unoriginal for example: Electrode, Dugtrio, Dodrio, Magneton, Dewgong etc.

And the list goes on... This doesn't really mean that these are bad Pokemon though, I think people just don't like gamefreak making a lot of inanimate object Pokemon, I mean a lot of the older generation pokemon we're more based on animals and other creatures with a few exceptions like Magnemite and Voltorb and when you look today there mainly the ones getting the hate Pokemon like Vanilluxe, Garbodor etc.

No I don't really think Vanilluxe or Garbodor sucked I mean they're still a lot more original then some older Pokemon. I think it's just that people like to put the older generations (especially the 1st) on a pedestal and act as if every single pokemon was incredibly original when as a matter of fact they weren't I actually think the newer generations had Pokemon that were more creative for the most part.

If you judge by only a couple of examples, they never had any idea to start with.

I think they are. If you look at the Japanese version of the game... they literally have a garbage page for a Pokemon. If that is not evidence that they are running out of ideas, then I do not know what is.
