Here's a question I want you guys to take seriously. No jokes, really, because I'm being srsly legit now. srsly.

Do you think, with the technology we have NOW (not in the future or past, now) can be used to inhabit other celestial bodies, including moons, stars, and other planets if we used it correctly (and it fit our budget)?

I do believe partially in evolution. I believe that we adapt and change based on our environment, yes. But I believe that God created Adam and Eve.

A user of this : Well Matthew and I (and a bunch of others) already live on Mars. We have not done it, we survive with oxygen tanks, but, in theory, it is possible.

A user of this : It is possible to make it have a Earth-like atmosphere. But, it's not like we can throw a bunch of oxygen on Mars then BAM it's like Earth. It will take a long time for that to happen, but is it possible yes. I dunno why we don't go ahead and do this, we're running out of land on Earth....

Another question. The only dwarf planet I know is Pluto do you know any other dwarf planets?

It seems like I haven't posted in here for a pretty long time but I have a question, there's a new planet that has been discovered some time ago and I want to know what you guys think about it.

Matthew2321 : Sorry, but you are wrong about Mars. It is not possible to make it an Earth-like planet. The reason why Mars is the way it is is because the energy in its core was used up, so the core is dead. Without an active core, the planet has no magnetic field to protect it from the Sun's solar winds. So the solar winds literally tear apart the atmosphere a lot. And without an active core, there is no tectonic activity. So no new land formations. Without a LOT of water (oceans), there is no water erosion for the land (if there was new land being made from tectonic activity, which there is none). Everything that makes our planet the way it is was made impossible for Mars when its core, in essence, died. I know this isn't for others to answer questions, but I thought it was important to point out that your answer was far from the truth. 

For the spirit of the thread, I'll ask a question though.

Assuming there is life out there (I do believe so), isn't it kind of egotistical to think that Earth and its inhabitants are so particularly special, that all these aliens are constantly sneaking around our planet observing us? (though I believe that the odds are in favor of life out there, I think EVERY story of 'sightings' and 'abductions' are all false, hence the question)

rcarter2 : Yes, I think it is pretty egotistical. I also believe that there is alien life out there. I believe that all of the "sightings" and whatnot are just people seeking attention, but think about this for a second. Say that the aliens are smarter than us and they find life on our planet. Don't you think they would be interested in us? While it is egotistical to assume that all aliens are watching us, it would make sense that if an alien race did find us, they would observe us. Does that make sense? I don't think I explained it very well.

Another question for a person to answer...have you ever seen a star and named it after your name? It's a stupid question but I want answers!

1. Well a UFO is any object in the sky that cannot be identified, hence the name Unidentified Flying Object, or UFO. Therefore, many UFOs could be different. Some could be to harm us, some to observe us, some could just be meteors or something that we cannot identify.

2. Some aliens could be, and probably are, more advanced than us. We assume that aliens are less advanced than us, but if they can find our planet and we cannot find theirs, they would obviously be more advanced. However those aliens that we find before they find us are obviously less advanced.

3. Among us as in on Earth or as in in the entire universe? I do not think that there are aliens on Earth, but I believe that they exist somewhere.
