Sorry for the sandwich post, but I can confirm that Amie friendly pokemon will also heal themselves of poison. I think it's safe to say that it works for all statuses. Confirmation is always welcome though.

Well, if the last Pokemon game you have played is Diamond, I am sorry to point this out, but you have missed quite a bit. In Pokemon Platinum, which was a special edition of Diamond and Pearl (similar to what Emerald was to Ruby and Sapphire), there have been minor additions such as the Battle Frontier, which I believe was also introduced in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Now, I do not think I need to talk about Heart Gold and Soul Silver, as they are remakes of the original Gold and Silver. It is the same thing, but they go into more depth with the rival, Silver's, back-story, and there is the Celebii event, which I do not want to spoil. After that came a brand new generation of Pokemon games. The first two were called Pokemon Black and Pokemon White. Again, I want to avoid spoilers here, so I will be taking these lightly. Let me just say that the story line was its only improvement. Other than that, I did not find it to be too impressive. Its sequels, Black 2 and White 2, feature the return of the regional villains, Team Plasma, with a whole new look. Personally, I think these were better than the original Black and White, as it is possible to catch older Pokemon before entering the Hall of Fame. Afterwards, X and Y came into action. These were a huge leap from Generation Five, and not just in graphics. They have plunged to many new depths and explored more realistic and interesting themes, and I never thought I would play another game as wonderful as Heart Gold until I came across Y. They were, in my opinion, very well done. That's all I have to say now, and you're welcome for helping if I did .
