Hello, and welcome to the guide for Pokémon yellow upgrade. Here are some tips just in case your a bit confused about something, or if you want some awesome things. First, you start off in your house. When you see the machine in there, get the potion from it. You will need it during your first battle. After your battle with your rival, fight a lot wild Pokémon (the wild Pokémon in yellow upgrade are stronger, so you get more experience). Once you feel your pikachu is strong enough, and it learns quick attack, head for the pewter city gym. Make sure you have another pokemon that is strong with you too. When you win, head to the next city. Bring lots of potions, because there is a lot of battles to fight there. When you get to the next city, there will be a house near the gym. Go in it, talk to the women next to the bulbasaur, say yes and you get that pokemon. Try to beat nugget bridge. Then, there will be a guy near the end of that bridge. Tell him you want the charmander he has, and you will get it. Train them by fighting the wild pokemon near nugget bridge. Then beat misty and head for vermilion city. You can only get there by going through the house that officer jenny was blocking. You will get dig after you beat the rocket guy. Teach it to charmander. But before you head to vermilion city, make sure you got the S.S. ticket from Bill. When I continue my guide, i will talk about the next 2 gym badges and other things during them. The one thing I immediately noticed was the distinct lack of Nidoran in this run. The best way to deal with almost any early threat in Pokémon Yellow is Nido.
