i have played every official FE game and beaten them all about 3-4 times each (10+ times for FE7 :3) and many hacks, including The Last Promise, Fire Emblem tactics universe, A sacred dawn DX, nearly all of them. i was wondering, which game do you find the most entertaining? the most difficult? Best Story line?

Any suggestions on hacks i should try out?

Thanks

Barathemos : Hmm... I'll go with Nah (Awakening). In my current save file there, she is the best character in the game. She beat the final boss in like 2 or 3 hits. Took no damage. She's easily the most overpowered unit in the game, lol.

Tails the Fox : I'd probably add more chapters (I never want the games to end!), and remove any character like Marcus or Seth. They're totally worthless, and I almost never use them anyway.

Hidden Phantom : Who all is in the strong holy bloodline? I'm not as familiar with the older games, though I'm sure I'll recognize the names and be able to decide once I know who they are.

Mr. Nerd : Yes. Just... yes.

nickthetactitian : I prefer "The Last Promise" in all of those categories, I think. I haven't ever seen a hack as good as that, and I believe that it surpasses even the official games.

Have you tried this hack, or this one?

mrfe : I'd be careful where you tread if you say Seth is worthless. I don't like him either, but some people will argue he's one of the most broken units in the game. Also, you must have bred a God Nah like my God Owain.

Do you think Ike from fe  is too slow in brawl, or do you actually enjoy using him?

Mr. Nerd : I realize some people like Seth, but to be completely honest he is crappy later on. I mean no offense to those who use him, but any experienced FE player should know to completely ignore him when he's not absolutely necessary. I haven't gotten him past level 1 in my last 3-4 playthroughs.

Nah's stats currently including dragonstone+ bonuses...

HP - 80
Str - 65
Mag - 50 (unused)
Skill - 52
Spd - 48
Lck - 56
Def - 68
Res - 60

Yeah, slightly OP...

SuperCrash64 : I haven't played brawl a ton, but I enjoyed using Ike when I did.

What do you think of pre-evolved characters? Do you use them or do you like to train your own?

Chewedmint : Yay, another question!!!! I definitely prefer un-promoted units when recruiting, I find they have much higher stats. I'll take a couple of pre-evolved units occasionally, to save the un-evolved if they're close to death (usually a paladin), but I either never use them again or kill them off once my other units are capable enough.

Guys, don't be shy! Ask away!

I've got another one. Out of every Fire Emblem game you've played, what was the most annoying chapter/level in your opinion?

Out of every Fire Emblem game that you have played which is your favorite and most hated villain? This goes for their personality and how much trouble you had fighting them.

mrfe : Super Smash Bros. Brawl question: Ike or Marth?  Marth is the more highly rated character and has a bit more speed, but Ike has some power behind his hits and has an awesome final smash (not to say Marth's isn't awesome.).  Who's your fave to use?

Is it true that marth was a woman at some point? I always thought he looked like one but I knew he was actually male, but one of my friends who avidly plays fire emblem games said that he had been a woman in one of the games. I am not sure which one it was, but that is just what I heard from him.

So is it true that he was a woman at one point? And also is he permanently a female character now???

I think both Ike and Marth are good in their own way for brawl. Ike is way powerful and marth is super fast and can perform some really fast combos to rack up damage quickly. So they each have their pros and cons.

Chewedmint : Oy, this is a tough one (played so much FE, it's hard to choose one). As of recently, I've just arena abused my units so bad that I can't lose at any level. Like, I can usually solo almost any map with a few different units. I always try to completely max them if I can. I'll go with chapter 23B (24B in Hector's mode) of Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. That one always made me rage, unless I arena abused. xD

maguc : My favorite Villain is Lyon (Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones).
Spoiler:
Poor kid, he didn't really want to hurt them...
My least favorite is probably Gheb from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Dunno why, but he disgusts me. xD

supernerd117 : I always used Ike, I love powah characters. XD I guess that answers your question, right? I use Ike because I like to pwn people and them notice.

Razor-987 : Ah, finally! Thank you for asking this question!

'Marth' is a female character in Fire Emblem: Awakening. From here, it's all spoilers.
Spoiler:
Thing is, it's not actually Marth. It's Chrom's daughter from the future, Lucina. In the storyline, the children of many playable characters come back from a future where the main boss (Grima) has destroyed the world. Lucina is Chrom's daughter. She comes back, calling herself Marth, to save Chrom from this future she endured.

There ya go.

Keep asking questions!!!! I'd hate to have to close this up!

As ideas, I'm willing to help in situational problems. Like, if you're in a chapter and someone died; you can't decide whether to move on or restart the chapter. I can help.

Do you kill off characters you don't use or do you restart if one dies? Personally, I hate letting my units die, even the ones I hardly use.

Also, here are a couple FE: SS questions:

Which route do you tend to take more often; Ephraim's or Eirika's?

Have you ever maxed out every characters stats, including movement? I'm currently working on this myself.

Chewedmint : Before playing Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (DS), I almost never let any unit die. After playing through Shadow Dragon, though, I've learned to boost a select few units and kill off the others. (In Shadow Dragon, you must have 15 units or less to gain many sidequests) So, I tend to kill off any units I don't really really want. It can get kinda sad sometimes though.

I usually will take Ephraim's, as I find it more challenging and therefore more fun.

Including movement? I haven't. I think it's impossible to max movement, at least for most units. I've maxed a couple different units excluding movement though. So much OP.... XD

mrfe : There's a glitch that allows you to get unlimited Swiftsoles + Dragonshields from the ruins. It involves a small abuse of the RNG system.

To perform the RNG trick, select a unit who has normal terrain surrounding him/her (it's easiest to do if the unit has an odd amount of move, e.g 5, 7, etc).

Select them with A and when you are selecting which space to move them to, use up all of their movement, but end up on a space adjacent to them. This is usually done by moving the arrow around the character. For example, up, right, down, down, left. Then you move your cursor to the space directly diagonal from the character that doesn't have part of the arrow on it.

In this example, you would press left again. Now, since the arrow can't be 6 spaces long, the game automatically generates a new arrow leading to that space. In doing so, it uses a RN (random number) to decide whether the arrow should move down and then left or left and then down.

After that, press B to cancel unit selection, and then press A to re-select the unit and repeat as often as you want.

Now, the Swiftsole trick:
1. Do a Hard Reset
2. Enter the ruins
3. Perform the RNG trick 13 times
4. Retreat and re-enter
5. Retreat and re-enter
6. Retreat and re-enter
7. There should be a wight near the northeast corner that drops a swiftsoles; kill him
8. Retreat and save
9. Repeat trick as often as you like

Most people do this trick just for the Swiftsoles, but there's also a Maelduin in the southeast corner carrying a Dragonshield. I pick that up as well. Here is a video demonstration of how it works:

Chewedmint : Ah, that trick. I never used it, I may abuse arenas but I don't usually do glitches. I do use the 'controlling enemies' one though. Have you heard of that one?? It's pretty epic.

mrfe : I've never tried that one, but I've looked into it. I'll probably try it out sometime, since you can restore items to 'new' condition using it, apparently. I'd imagine that would come in handy, because you can even restore Myrrh's Dragonstone.

Chewedmint : I never do restore items though, I find it too risky. I just steal items from like the eyes or whatever, and Myrrh can use those. In fact, anyone can use those items (if I remember correctly). So yeah, they have infinite uses. Auto woop.

In response to a previous question:  I've heard of a ridiculous recruitment
situation in Tracia 776, but I haven't played that one yet and it doesn't
sound like have either.  I'm guessing that would be a dreaded chapter.

Question:  I'm currently at Ch 23 in FE 7 in my first play through (kind of
got a late start on the series ).  I spent a bit of time trying to figure out
how to recruit Geitz and eventually gave up and looked it up on a forum.
As I'm sure you could have told me, I found out that I needed Dart.
The problem is, somehow I missed recruiting Dart.  I realize
Geitz is a lost cause without starting over, but out of curiosity,
do you have any idea how I missed Dart?

alr256 : You get Dart if you play in chapter 16x (17x if you're in Hectors mode), and he survives the chapter. Sadly, that's the only way to get Geitz. Perhaps on another playthrough you can get him. If you play through again, let me know and I'll try to help you out.
