Alright guys welcome to the forth day of awesome month featuring...POLIWAG...basic but hey guys i dont have much to say here so lets just blow through this one already but before i do that let me just tell you this i will not be reviewing politoed...deal with it

Alright unlike most of the pokemon in awesome month there is no deep or complicated reason i liked this thing i just needed a water type this thing looked like a water type i caught it and it became a fairly decent party member so...thats it TO THE REVIEW

MOVESET

At the start this thing will only know water sport no...this cant be real right...*goes to bulbapedia*...my god it is okay dont use this crap just switch pokemon in and out

Now at level 5 we get bubble a water type move with a base damage of 20...hey its better than water sport take it

At level 8 we get hypnosis and this is actually an okay move for this pokemon because it can get you sometime to get a few quick jabs in on the target so use it for now

At level 11 we get water gun its nothing but bubble except double the damage do the math and figure out its base damage and replace bubble with this move

Now at level 15 we get double slap now i think most of us here know what this move does and i can proudly say..dont take it

At level 18 we get rain dance this move boost all water type attacks by 50% now if you can spare an extra turn i say you use this move for now but use it sparingly you never know what the trainers have up there sleeve

NOW at level 25 we get Poliwhirl and i just love this cute little thing also this guy gets bubblebeam right after you evolve it so take that move and replace your current water type move for that now i dont need to tell you anything else about that move except its more powerful...thats all you need to know

At level 32 we get mud shot a ground type move with a base damage of 55 and an accuracy rate of 95% so its okay but i would not recommend it

okay at level 37 we get a move that i hate for a pokemon like this belly drum now for those who dont know belly drum reduces the users hp to half to make its attack at maximum so this would be so good on a different pokemon but...its just not going to work here

At level 43 we get wake up slap this fighting type move has a base damage of 60 and 100% accuracy now incase you didnt guess from the title this move also wakes up sleeping pokemon no matter what that is a good move and this could come in handy so..i have to recommend it

At level 48 we get honestly the best thing in this pokemons moveset hydro pump this is also when i evolve poliwhirl with a water stone to make it a poliwrath but anway this water type move has an EXTREME base attack damage of 120 and has 85% accuracy so i say you take it as we all know i am not a fan of power of accuracy but this time i have to make and exception

And finally to end this moveset we get mud bomb at level 53 this ground type move has a base attack damage of 65 and has 85% accuracy...alright time for a catch phrase...dont use it-GOD I HAVE NOT SAID THAT IN SUCH A LONG TIME

STATS

Alright i am just going to assume that you guys used a stone and got a poliwrath because i dont know why you and secondly most of you are using Emulaters so anyway poliwrath highest stat will be its defense and its second highest stat is its health so we have a pretty good combo of stats going on right now but sadly its 2 lowest stats are its speed and special defense...you can deal with the special defense but i promise you that speed will screw you over and finally its main attack stat is at 85...guys i have no major problem with this not even one this is okay except maybe that speed all you will have to do is Ev train it to focus on speed thats all i recommend but keep in mind that you will have to defend your self from 4 different types flying grass psychic and electric so thats it TMS AND HMS

TMS AND HMS

all right this was uh...this was a weird one..just show them the set

Brick break
Rock slide
Earthquake
Anything thats a physical attack

You know the main theme thats been going on in my movesets are versatile and adaptable moveset now this pokemon is different he did have to tools for something different but i just could not figure out a set because it does have the stats but not the tms its like having an ice cream cone without the ice cream but anyway lets go into this brick break is there to be your main offensive move thats all it is not meant to protect you from a certain threat now rock slide is there for you to cover the sky and ground flying types before they can get a hit on you Earth quake is there to cover the  ground for electric types and finally the last move is up to you guys just make sure its a physical attack thats all

GYMS AND RIVAL

well oddly enough this pokemon is not that good against gyms..odd but hey thats not to say it cant be effective when fighting other things for instance it can put up a good fight against your rival especially if you picked a grass type if you know what i mean...anyway this thing is also very effective against your everyday trainer that just stands in the middle of nowhere constantly waiting for a trainer like you to cut them and there pokemon down now the reason this guy is not so good against gyms is very simple its because this is a hybrid pokemon fighting and water that wont work there sure normal types wont do a thing to you but the a.i will find a flaw in those types and once they do find it they will exploit it trust me i speak from experience..ugh the nightmares...you know i cant shake the feeling that i am missing something

Final thoughts:eh...this thing did not age that well granted it does have some decent stats and a rather...bad moveset and it does have the power to pose a decent threat to you rival its not bad per say its just that alot of other pokemon can fill in the role that poliwrath plays in your team except alot better and with better stats and also better movesets still i wont say its bad its just average if your looking for a water type that can take down some normal type pokemon and also take a few blows this maybe your pokemon

Final rating:3/5
