I have a question...how does one's post count drop? One day,when I had some 40+ posts, the next day, it still said I had the same amount. 

Sidewinder :  You were likely looking at the last 24 hours.  If you started posting at 6:00 PM sever time and got 41 posts in by the end of the day, you'd have 41 posts when you got on at say 8:00 AM assuming you didn't post between Midnight server time and 8 AM server time.  It also could be a case of you posting at the exact times in the day to give you the result of having 41 posts in a 24 hour span again.

Is it just me, or does this VCS seem really quiet?  We need to throw some flames up!  Really spark some people into posting more often!  I guess it's just a bad month, since most people are starting school right around now? I've been in school for six weeks now, and our kids for five. Ew.

I'm really hoping I can get back on track right now. To much homework is just killing me right now! I really wish that school could at least let us take a day off.

At least I know I am going to make some points today, I am currently in second place for posts today, I am going to go for 2,800 and then stop after that. I had planned to go for 50 posts or so but I will see what I can do. At least I go my name italicized, it has definitely been a while. But know at 36 posts and getting closer to my goal of 2,800 posts for the day. Competition is fierce though. Maybe I can place in the top 5 if I get lucky. Best of luck to everyone! I am now 8 more posts from 2,800 and almost 200 away from my goal of 3,000! I am so excited!

Anyway it seems like you basically got  first place, so no one going to catch up to you, unless a few other members gets at least 80 or so points.
