I would like to say that I have gotten what I've wanted, but I haven't.  But ehh I'm not complaining or anything. I've enjoyed the gifts I've gotten for my birthday because they were still fun to play with.

I usually don't get the things I want for my birthday, but end up getting them during Christmas, but as I grew older I stopped caring what I get at all and never knew what material possession I wanted and could make me happy or not bored, besides video games and music. So, I'd tell everyone get me whatever, or I don't know what I want, and even say it doesn't matter. Besides, I figured I could buy it myself when I got older.

I've gotten what was on my birthday wish list before. Lots of times, actually.
It helps that I read a lot, so my family just has to keep their eyes open for any new books from series that I'm currently reading.
Though, when my IPod broke, I asked for a new one for my birthday and got a nice little IPod touch, so I was certainly a happy camper that day.
