Is this your first time uploading a video to youtube? First, refer to this thread. It states that you need to download the program and convert your video there. It's preferable to convert it to Mp4 or whatever has good quailty. Next, you need to take in account on what uploader you are using. If you are using the vizzed uploader, then it will take a very long time depending on your internet speed. I'm not so sure about your own personal youtube account though. I hope this helps.
