for example tales of symphonia.


basically kind of like final fantasy. it's rpg, you grow levels and learn abilities. increases stats and all that jazz. but its not taking turns, its more of an all out fighting games style. different game systems have different versions of "tales of" games.

for tales of symphonia (for ps2 and gamecube), there are 8 characters and 4 players can be on the field. 1-4 players and there can be 1-5(or6) enemies on the field at once. if you guys havent tried it yet, just give it a shot.

There isnt. I think he's mixing it up with Tales of Phantasia.
Either that or theres a hack of some game to make it ToS...
I have played ToP on the Snes, thats about it.
The other games didnt really make it out this way, until the 360 Tales versions, but I dont want a 360, so I suppose I miss out. Meh.

But I HATE the GBA version.
I've got on my VBA and the controls are so weird.
They're so weird that I haven't even gotten far enough into it to experience the storyline.
We keep dying because of how poorly we fight.

really? i saw pictures for the DS versions and they look nice and i was thinking of maybe getting them. i cant believe just how fast theyre creating the games. they're already making a 3rd one for the DS. gahhh! i cant catch up.

ive only played symphonia, legendia and i just started on the abbyss. but yeah.. i want the DS ones so i can play anywhere

I barrowed tales of Symphonia from a friend and it's is a great game. In fact I would recommend it to any rpg fan also pedo bear gives it the seal of approval for only one reason only.

the tales games are the absolute best! i own five of them now. symphonia, symphonia 2, vesparia, abyss, and phantasia. ive also beat eternia and played a few more. the only one i didnt like was on the psp and it was still good. very good series
