my first ever game was the snes. it brought me joy and i want you to discuss what your first ever game system was and how you felt about it ok? =)

I like the old systems better than the new ones by far simply because of way better games. GBA,NES,SNES,N64 and GBC were all great to me, nintendo has continued to try and fly the flag but its not that great compared to what it was. Probably because a lot of the companies that made games for them sold out and went to another system and turned mediocre.

They weren't as great for me, I grew up in the late 1990's so the oldest system I owned was a Nintendo 64, and the only game I remember owning on it was Mario party 64. I will say this tho the graphics on the Nintendo 64 amazed me when I was a kid.

iMy Gameboy handheld was great. I had a bunch of great games on there. Great.

The first system I EVER played on was the N64 when I was 3. I use to play Super Mario Bros. All the time then I moved on to a PlayStation. I miss the old Nintendo systems, they were soooo good.

The older gaming consoles contained the first games I ever played. When I was very little, I would always play on my Super Nintendo and my Nintendo 64 (though I had no idea what I was doing). My point is that the retro gaming consoles introduced me to the world of video games, so they were very great for me.

A nes I think or a n64. Old games systems are awesome to me I still go back to it because of how awesome it is.

Also old games were way more challenging than any game swe have now   

I love N64 games. I have one that i still use to play zelda ocarina of time. It also brings me joy and when im bored i play it. To this day i dislike new consoles. I have always been more of a PC gamer but now i can play the old games on a PC thanks to vizzed! 

ok now that we got that out whats your most favorite game ystem you can hold in you rhands ... Ds gameboy...etc. what was your first one and how did it affect your childhood?

Angelofevil176 : The old consoles were great! I liked the N64, SNES, and the Game Boy series. It makes me miss the olden Retro days. New products like Call of Duty just ruin video games. Good times...

Couldn't really save on most of the old game systems, but they were really great. Mostly rented video games from Hastings and Blockbuster though, but actually bought games for my Nintendo 64. Would play WWE No Mercy and Pokemon Stadium til bedtime.

Growing up my family didn't have a lot of money so I was playing the SNES after the PlayStation and xbox came out. Most of my favorite video game memories are on it and it brought me and my brother who is 10 years older than me a lot closer together.

well mine was Sega Gen mega drive and then later we got the super Nintendo

The nintendo 64 was my first system, I had super mario and super mario kart on it and I played it all the time. It really does bring back a lot of great memories playing on that system. I also played a lot on my SNES, I played so many games on that as well. I really had a lot of fun on them and I had lots of great memories of playing on them. So yes they were both great systens for me and I had a great and enjoyable experience playing on them. They were awesome. And now I have an xbox 360, wii and nintendo 3ds. Man technology modernizes so fast. But I will never forget the great times I had on the N64 and Snes. They may be older systems, but they are still a lot of fun in my opinion!

My first game system was the old traditional NES with Super Mario Bros. and I have to say as a kid it was amazing. It really defined video games and general even though Mario has become a "mainstream: series by Nintendo but still, back then it was amazing. I went on to get many more systems like the SNES, N64, PS1, and a lot of other classic systems even Atari's for the fun of it. And compared to how gaming systems are now and how games are developed, there are times i'd rather sit back down at my NES and just play that for weeks than some of the current day games.

Classic games didn't need a lot of gimmicks to make them great or attract players; now have these old games had their share of flaws? Sure have, but even then, its what YOU make of it. I can tell you, whenever I become a dad some day, i'm so having my kids sit down with me and we'd go back in time and play all my systems and just have a blast and then eventually step up into the current gaming world. 

I like the old systems better than the new ones because the old ones have better games than these new ones. And it's not all about graphics.
