Er, this game..is something new. It was the first game to put Megaman into the 3D perspective, and it was cool. Too bad it was a bit confusing on my part, but besides that, it wasn't bad. But it wasn't good either.

I have to politely disagree with your review.  Mega Man Legends is one of my favorite experiences on the PS1, and it has kind of a cult following for the series.  Mega Man Legends 2 was a much longer, much more difficult game, and a third one was rumored but then canceled by Capcom.  There is a group called "100,000 strong for MMLegends 3" but I doubt Capcom will ever do it.  There was a spinoff, called Misadventures of Tron Bonne, and it is one of the rarest and most valuable PS1 games out there, highly sought after.

Anyway, I was a fan of all the original side scrollers, and I think the transition to 3D was smooth.  We got to know mega man and the character a little better.  More control, more conversation, more story.  The boss fights were all fun, even if they were pretty straight forward (find the weakness, exploit it).  But you can't deny how fun the boss fights were.

It isn't deep in forms of RPG, but it really didn't have to be.  It's a 3D action adventure platformer, with a hint of RPG.
