From the years of 1998-2002,the people who made Rugrats had permission to make Rugrats games. The ones on consoles like The PS1,N64,GameCube,And PS2 were great! The ones on the GB,GBC,and GBA.Not so great. But this is on N64 so it's great! This is Rugrats In Paris:The Movie for Nintendo 64!
Graphics-8 The graphics are great for it's time!I surprised when I saw the character models, unlike other N64 games, the models were actually smooth and not like pointy!Well, okay some parts of there head looked pretty sharp and point to upper right and left of there heads but I can except that because this game came out in the year 2000,about a year or two before I was born I should add.But anyway, the graphics are decent and smooth, that's what I like in a 3d game!I would have gave it a 9 but, there were some graphical glitches to point where you can actually see through the characters models!
Sound-9 Unlike the handheld games, this soundtrack is amazing! There's just that Rugrats charm everywhere!I would've gave it a 10,but there is one problem.....the voice acting.I man, most of the characters weren't that bad,but I hated Kimi's voice.I mean, the voice got better in the series but in here it's annoying. It's sounds squeaky!
Addictiveness-7 You will somehow come back to this game!I came back to it 19 times to play it!(Yes,I counted each time I played) It's just very fun!
Story-4 The story is not like the film. The Rugrats meet Kimi Finster,An Asian 1 and a half year old,she says that something is wrong with Reptar Land but is not sure what,so they play mini-games around the park to find out what's wrong?Uh.......Yeah I prefer the story in the movie. This story is pretty bad,but the story doesn't matter in a game for me!Note:Kimi's last name is Finster because at the end of the movie she becomes Chuckie's Step-sister.
Depth-7 This game is pretty big in size. You can play as Tommy Pickles,Chuckie Finster,Angelica Pickles,Phil and Lil Deville, and Kimi Finster. There are many different attractions in each park!My personal favorite was the bumper carts!
Difficulty-7 Some of the mini games were a challenge! The game was also hard due to it being glitchy at times but I can except that because this came out in 2000.
Overall-9.1 This game is great. It's a heck of a lot better than the Rugrats handheld games! The graphics were nice and smooth, the music was great, it's difficult at times, and it addicting! The downsides were that they're were graphical glitches to point where you could see through the character models,Kimi's voice was very bad,it was glitchy at times, and the story was crappy.Anyway, you should give this game a shot! I will try to review the Game Boy Color version, from what I've seen from ratings,it's not that great.Anyway, hope you enjoyed!
