I personally don't think that this is needed. If Mojang were to make another game, I would hope it would be completely different than Minecraft, but hopefully just as awesome. You see, a game like Minecraft you can just keeping creating updates improving things, adding things and all sorts of stuff like that. I don't think Minecraft would need a sequel. It is good enough how it is now.
