That's hard to say, you don't see pokemon deaths that often. Anyway, I wouldn't really know, I don't remember much of the pokemon movies. The only one I clearly remember is the first movie, and I can't remember if there were any deaths in that one. Overall, though, I'd say that since it is so rare, any pokemon death would be equally sad.

In the movie with Lucario,he was absorbed by the anti-cells in the tree.
So that counts as an actual death.
