Alright, I have a problem. Whenever I play any games besides some games on the gameboy, I get lots of lag and the game is slow. I don't know whether I'm just stupid and there's any easy fix to this problem or if its just my labtop being slow. I am not tech savvy so if you have an answer please put it in words I can understand. Has this happened to some of you guys? Is there an easy fix? Should I just throw out my labtop? Is it something I'm doing wrong? These are all questions that I am asking myself so I would appreciate it if you answered these. Thanks.

Bill0125 : Well, I'll try to help. Have you tried different web browsers? Is your laptop normally slow? Like does it take long to startup and does other programs run slowly? If you answer yes to this then go to control panel and click add or remove programs and uninstall some programs that you don't need to make your PC faster.
Also have you tried other emulators? Have you also tried the Java emulator? Do other emulators run slow? 

Well, that what I pretty much know. And also don't throw away your laptop, as long as your laptop has no physical problems then you can reinstall windows if you like but thats usually the last thing people would do to fix problems. Good luck!

Bill0125 : Which Part of the emu are you using? If you are trying 3d games like mame 1s then the game will lag for some reason. If you are having trouble try checking If you're browser is going slow. IE and Firefox are most recommended for playing games on here

maybe (no offence) your computer could be slow or you don't have the correct video card to play the game.
also try to close all of your programmes that are running at the moment you are playing the game that could slow down your performance.
