You are right. Pokemon Sapphire is a good game.  It is awesome. 
I like Pokemon Sapphire but Pokemon White 2 is better.

You live in Aspertia City.  That's also where the first gym is. First go to first Pokemon.  Go to Floccesy Ranch.  Find the missing Pokemon named " Herdier. "   Win in first gym.  Go past guy that said  " you need a badge to pass. "   Fight him first.  You get to pass. 
Avoid other trainers.  If they see you, they will battle you.  Then you make it to Virbank City.  That's where the second gym is. 
Be careful not to get fooled because that gym looks like a place where you have a band.  That Gym Leader is not only a gym leader, she also makes music.  When you are inside, You can't battle her yet. you have to defeat the other two people first.
 If you just talk to her immedientally, it will say " She can't hear you. "     She and those two other people will be making music while you are inside.  You need to battle them first because they are also making music.  You just have to talk to them first, then when you defeat them, they will stop making music.  Then you can talk to Roxie " The name of the second gym leader." 

See if you could solve a way to beat the rest of this game ( If you have it )

Deltachaos1112 : Of course Pokemon White 2 is better. It came out like 10 years after the game that is being reviewed.
