Yup, you read the title right. I am getting out of the Army. The Army will not medically discharge me for my back... they are hurrying up and getting me out on an honorable discharge for my Kyphosis and degenerative disk disease in my spine. Right now, the projected date is June 21st, but that won't happen. It will be after that... more likely so around the July 4th time frame. I put in leave about 2 months ago, and it has already gotten approved. With it being so close, they can't take it back and screw me over on that count, too.

For some very odd reason I didn't get your summon to this.

You know we've already talked about this, so there's not much more I can say on the issue.  I know how important the army is to you, so I'm sorry that you're not being given much of a choice here.  I hope you can find something else to do that will make you just as happy, and something that holds just as much importance to you.  Life takes some funny turns sometimes, and the best we can do is just sit back and let things fly by.

I know you're determined enough and skilled enough to find something... I just pray that the something is very good for you and helps you deal with this emotionally and mentally.

If you ever need to continue to rant or vent, you know you have my ear.  I'll be praying for your situation.

Singelli: Well, getting my CDL should be pretty easy since I was Motor Transportation Operator (Truck Driver). All I got to do is get my commander and Primary Care Physician to sign a few sheets of paper, and then get a Washington State Driver's License instead of a North Carolina one. And while I am looking for a job there, I will be working in a corn mill, making sure machines don't get messed up while they are separating the cornals from the cob.
