It has to be the Harry Potter series. The books were still better, but the movies were an amazing adaptation, and told the story well. Also, the actors were extraordinary ! It's a well-done series, that's for sure.

It may be a little cliche, but the first thing that comes to mind is Harry Potter. The first actor for Dumbledore was perfect, and the series itself held my interest very well. I enjoyed the fact that I got to see interesting ideas behind magic-casting society, which is something I've always dreamed of.

Especially Christmas Vacation; One of the only movies I can quote in its entirety from start to finish. Transformers would have to be a close second because even if some aspects of the Michael Bay version were less than stellar, the overall franchise holds a dear place in my heart.
