I'm not a teacher but I would agree that standardised tests were the worst thing to have EVER happened to education. There's no critical thinking and lack of critical thinking on the part of the general population is a major part of why we've had horrible things like the witch trials and the Nazis happen.

I found the standardised tests system extremely boring and ended up making my own amusement, much to the chagrin of the teachers.

I'm now finding it a lot better at Uni where we are encouraged to think more critically.

well yeah some of them but i like to them waste there time sometimes some teachers decide to talk instead of teach and i hate it so much when some are racist and pick on you alot i talk back to the ones who are and defend the the person being picked stupid teachers that enjoy doing dumb things and some substitutes are crazy that sometimes they will punish you for not answering a question that you didnt even get and then say you were not payying attention so im gonna right you this refferal but overall i do thing they waste a lot of time not focusing on there job
