I like dogs because they show more affection towards their owner, where as in half a second your cat could decide to it wants to put some new holes in your arm.

I like cats better, less to pick up, they need a lot less constant care(walks and stuff), are softer, and they don't tend to smell as bad

I like both equally. Both animals are beautiful and have their "pros and cons" as companions. It really depends on the certain animal's temperment, and what the person is looking for in a companion, how much they put into the relationship, etc.

oh lord...thats a huge choice to make. Cause cats make good cuddle pets and they're fun to play with if you have the right toys. They're easy to handle and real laid back. dog oon the other hand have to be walked, and trained...all that good stuff. But dogs have more personality so im gonna have to say dogs! I think they truly are mans best friend

Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I find that a dog's personality is more like that of a human male, and a cat's personality is more like that of a female's. I don't mean this in a negative way at all.

That being said I grew up with cats all my life, and I love cats, always have, and are the ones I favor. I don't dislike dogs, I just generally seem to get along better with cats.

I don't remember if I posted here or not haha. Anyway, I go with cats. Ever since I was little I've grown up with them so I pretty much have to have a cat to live normally. I also believe cats are more clever than dogs. I love the cat's lazy personality too
