You may or may not know who John Scatman is.
But if you know who he is you'll know why he is called the Scatman.

For me I sort of like Scatman, it is a lot more unique than most of the bands you see now a days.

I agree with you.  Scatman was very unique with his music.  I really like him.  I do feel however as well, that he did not get the attention he deserved.  I would class what he makes as music.  It actually has meaning to it.
