18.  Some of you might have a mom like mine. Whenever we read Proverbs, she would ALWAYS bring in relationships into the discussion for every other verse.


For example: We read a certain passage and then my mom would go "yeah so when you find someone special, you want to be careful for the type of woman they are " And I would be like "OK MOM, I've gotten that awhile ago!! I'm not like 13 or something! I have my standards and I do think about what she's like on the inside and not just appearance!!! Can we move on?? There's gotta be something else that we can apply this verse towards!!!"


And for the record, I luv me mommy.


Anyways, there is this joke of a Christian pickup line by asking someone if they are a Proverbs 31 woman. This is created because Proverbs 31 is devoted to writing about the noble character of a woman. Of course, some of these might be more relatable to back then, but some can be applied to now. Guess what I'll be quizing you on? That's right, this chapter.


Now, remember we are basing the question on the chapter, so don't rely on whether the answer sounded good or if that actually happens today. Base it on what Proverbs 31 says.

Well dang, you done thrown me off there. In fact, I'm pretty sure I just dropped bad. I read the descriptions and was extremely confident, but got to the questions and was like, "Wait, I don't know this." Here's to hoping!

This was not a strong week. No one would have been safe if someone were to sling anyone in the standings. Light Knight and Singelli were the only ones who got both questions correct and Surgiac took a huge fall, pushing her to second with about 200 points behind. mrfe and pray75 switched places again, but both received losses, causing them to be further away from the top 3.



Here are the answers:

17) A lot of you don't know this one, but the answer is Nehemiah. Nehemiah is known as the one who returned to Palestine to rebuild the Walls of Jerusalem. Of course, the question is too easy if I just did wall related trash, so here is the reasoning behind the trash. The wine cup was because he was a cup bearer to the king (of Persia?) before leaving. The project checklist had a key hint in the number "52 days," because it took Nehemiah & Co. 52 days to complete all parts of the wall. Finally, the contract of not marrying foreigners is because Nehemiah made a decree that those living in this new rebuilding Jerusalem are to not intermarry with nations in the surroundings to keep this nation pure from outside influences away from God. For more info, go read the Book of Nehemiah (of course). It's only 13 chapters.



18) To give the short answer, the one that is not in Proverbs 31 is the description of the woman would openly promote her husband. Conceptually, that is also part of the point in Proverbs 31, is that the husband will be honored, not by what the woman says, but by the way she acts in the household and around her family.

Surgiac is making a lot of ground in trying to get back to Light Knight. I think these two are quite opposite in their approach. In this case, Light Knight got all of them right, but Surgiac took less time while making as little mistakes as possible, which is why she has more points gained compared to Light Knight. Singelli avoided a bullet....for now. My condolences to mrfe. If he got more characters in the correct order, he would have successfully countered the attack, and now, with Eva's positive gain, he might fall further down the standings. I'm not going to lie, but this is getting interesting.

20. Maybe I'm just feeling generous today, or maybe because I was trying to develop a new question mode that is still in development. Either way, today's questions will consist of really really simple stuff, like super simple, like the stuff that you hear from children's Sunday School simple. Feeling nervous? Good, you should be. > There will be 24 questions, each question will be on a different page and, like I said, they are very simple. There is a catch though. Because they are so simple, you are not going to be given multiple choice. These are fill in the blanks. You are to type your answer for each question. You won't be penalized for spelling unless it is clear that you are guessing or the spelling error is absolutely ridiculous. Because of the extra time it would take to answer based on the features, I am giving you 8 minutes to answer 24 questions. That should be 20 seconds per question. Plenty of time, I would say. About as much time as you would get for playing online Family Feud games (and those can be harder)

I call this segment the "Type The Answers For The Simple Questions And Press Submit To See How Many You Got Right Segment" or the TTAFTSQAPSTSHMYGRS, because acroynoms make things so much easier to remember.
