When I use mednafen to record a video, it runs suuuuuuuper slooooooowly. When the video comes out it is like two minutes long and at normal speed, but when I'm playing it takes about 15 minutes to do that. What's wrong?

Seriously... that's all it really boils down to. Your computer can't handle the load of trying to record and play at the same time.

Mine is kinda on the weak side too, but Mednafen doesn't really lag too much while recording for me (except on SNES games for some reason).

I suspect that once I put together my new computer that I ordered the parts for, it won't lag at all no matter what, because that computer has pretty good specs.
