TRy any of the JRPGs on this website. SMT is good, Dragon Quest, there's several Lufia games... Just look at my profile to find some good JRPGs since that's my favorite genre.

Also for the rest of the people answering, he posted he's tired of pokemon and Final Fantasy. I think you need to read better next time.

I know a good series of games: Fire Emblem it is now my new favorite game series (there is still pokemon, dragon quest, ect.) but there is a perfect game for everyone so take your time and pick if it doesn't work out for you. try a different one! good luck trying to find you favorite game!

I know Fire Emblem is extremely good if you are interested in that.

Also there are some great Pokemon hacks on here that even though you're tired of Pokemon you still want to play through.
I know that the following games are a couple of those hacks:
Any of the Pokemon Ruby Destiny Series (Ruby Destiny Rescue Rangers, Life of Guardians, Reign of Legends)

Pokemon Dark Rising is also an extremely fun but challenging hack that gets your mind away from the general Pokemon standard storyline.

If all else fails definitely try Fire Emblem, Kingdom Hearts, or even Dragon Quest. 
I played one of the Dragon Quest games for the DS (I forgot which one) and its very similar to Final Fantasy.
