I'd have to say that my favorite shooter is between the "House of the Dead" series, arcade and console ports, and the other being the "Medal of Honor" series. I like "Medal of Honor" because you get to take part in WWII and generally need watch your ammo(I've run out of ammo a few times in the "Vanguard" installment for the Wii). I think the "Medal of Honor" series has stayed in WWII for every game, but I only remember playing a "Medal of Honor" game on my PS1 when I was about 8 or so, it might have been "Call of Duty" if there was one of the PS1, I can't really remember it all that well. As for the "House of the Dead" series, it's a challenge to beat it in the arcade because you only bring so much money with you for games, and on the console ports it's not much easier, but I almost beat "House of the Dead 3" on the Wii, no continues left, no lives left, and only about 2 hit points left, then I died. Sorry if I'm rambling, but it's the only way I could think to explain it.

My favorite one? That would need to be either Gears of War, Left 4 dead 2, or F.E.A.R. I can't decide or pick between these three.

I haven't played this game in a couple days, but I really like Team Fortress 2. It may be overated and for Call of Duty Players, they might find "The Graphics sucky!" or "You can't even add attachments to your weapon!" but the graphics are supposed to be like that. And the Gameplay is supposed to be balanced. The game is free after all. (Excluding Micro-Transactions)
