In all seriousness, I hope you two have a lovely evening out.

thing1 :  It's not quite our anniversary, but our schedules are too tight to allow a date on our actual anniversary  Thus, we're celebrating life and 5 years of marriage.  Mainly, we're celebrating the fact that God provides.  We were put into a shocking position this month and left $4000 short thanks to promises made (and broken) and plans already set.  We were worried and still are, but my husband's job just increased his hours so that he can work 5 days a week through this month instead of the usual three.  He hadn't asked for it, and it's something through this month only, so we're thankful that God was watching out for us. We're not going anywhere expensive since money is so tight, but we mainly just want to spend his one day off in two weeks.... together.  We next to never get to spend time together anymore.  He works nights and I work days.  So any time one of us is home, the other is sleeping or working.

We're simply taking advantage of the opportunity so that we don't feel like strangers.  

And awww... thanks Eirinn!  I certainly will enjoy it! I've missed him so much!

I don't know if I can keep this pace up all month. I'm enjoying posting but I can't find 40+ places to post every night and not go crazy at some point.

I did say I wanted top 10 even though I seem to be trying to keep 1st. I will eventually take a day/night off and drop behind and then I'll probably stop trying as hard. Until then I plan to keep beating thing1 and keeping the lead on 1st place

I'm rooting for you as well.  I think you can keep the pace better than I can.  I'll just ramble my way through as much of it as I can.

Oh, and the night out was nice.  We found this little Mexican place where the plates were about $8.  Though they were like glorified TV dinners, the food wasn't bad, and we really enjoyed spending a few hours together just talking and being in each other's company.  We rented a couple of dollar movies too, so we're going to stay up and watch those.  I just feel blessed to finally get a night together after so long.

pacman1755 : hehe!  That would actually be hilarious!  Everyone would be so frantic.  I'm afraid it'd encourage spam and mod harassment though. XD

I was just getting on the wagon because it looked like so much fun.  There's nothing better than going down some bumpy trail in a vehicle with no decent suspension.  

pacman1755 : I love results. And if you waiting until the end of the month to update it... I am sure one of us would take the initiative to post the results each day. XD

Actually, I might not be in the top four tonight. I have to miss a large chunk of my usual posting time on Thursdays and Saturdays. : Although today seems to have been unusually inactive for everyone concerned.

Eirinn : you may not be in the top 4 but you'll get more than enough points to stay competitive. I wasn't actually planning on posting this much but my wife decided to go out tonight so I'm stuck at home alone Keeps me competitive for tonight

I actually think he's getting upset that I keep beating him and getting 1 more point than he does.

geeogree : I am at a basketball game that starts at midnight server time, and I am on my phone. So, if you actually post enough, you can have me beat easy.

geeogree : awww, it was kind of the opposite for me.  I was expecting my husband to go to work tonight, but it turns out I had his hours wrong.  So he wanted to snuggle on the couch and enjoy each other's company while we watched a few shows.  So I was gone for several hours.  I was a bit shocked to come online and see how few posts were made.  Today was certainly a very quiet day.

yeah, it's been a fairly quiet day which has been nice for me. Allows me to stay in the running.

As long as I can stay in the top 3 tonight I will keep my lead going
