Mine involves a bike, and a ramp. Here's the story....

One day, being the crazy guy that I am, I decided to be "extreme" for a day. So, I put out my ramp in the grass (thank goodness), and went up my street a bit, and this is one of those old X Games plastic ramps, so it was cheap. The funny thing is, my street is on a 35 degree elevated angle from my house, so it's a HUGE hill (kinda). Anyways I started pedaling, got up to about 20 mph, and was just about to catch some huge air, when, my ramp broke, sending me down on to the crossbar on my bike, where it made contact with my stuff (yep, that's an understatement). I was curled up in the fetal position for about a half hour after that hit.

That's my injury story, happened just last week.

I know exactly why crotch injuries hurt for us, too. ._. I remember running one of my routes on bike once, slid off the seat, landed crotch first on the middle bar. I ride boy bikes, and the brake cable for the back tire sat right on top of the pipe, so the contact point was even more acute. What made it hurt so much was how little flesh there is over the pubic bone. D8 Aaahaagh. Though there is also hitting juuust the right point and getting the nerve cluster. Guh. *shudder* Haven't done that, don't want to.

I think what it is is it's just a little harder to hurt girls as much there, y'know? We're not as obvious 'cause there's not as much to hit. ._.

She was one of those teachers that was reall only teaching the class because she had to. We had a half hour class in the morning for literacy and it was obvious she didn't care as long as we were quiet, so she didn't notice much.

I agree most strongly with that. It seems rarer these days that a teacher will actually go out of their way to make sure students understand so they can pass.
