Barathemos: the music????? Poor kid.

What's weird is that a kid moves to his new home with his mother by the back of a moving pick up truck, no other trainers in the game besides rival have starter pokemon, 1 kid is able to best two evil teams, Steven after the game has a lvl 58 metagross compared to lvl 75 pokemon, the fact even AFTER beating the Wallace, I still must beat him to claim the title of champion and do not replace him, the elite four and champion don't gain stronger pokemon, unlike just about every other game except gen 4, the sun never sets, you can skip beating the second gym until you reach the 3rd or 4th gym (but still need all 8 to get to the elite four), Sableye isn't super effective to any attacks, and YOUR OWN MOTHER LETS A 13 OR SO KID GO ON A TRIP ACROSS THE REGION. But then again, this is pokemon, and a good quarter of the things in the games don't make sense

Hmmm... I have not noticed that. I have made it as far as to where the Ice Pokémon come out because you have to go up that way to get an item for somebody. Strange... what is the powerful lazy Pokémon you are talking about? Could it be a Snorlax?

What's weird is how you're a child completely new to the region being sent on an adventure all around this new region using pokemon that most are completely new to you.

So, am I the only one who finds it weird that Wally gets a Ralts that only knows how to growl, but still manages to train it and levels it with out ever teaching it any TM's? And yeah that being thrown in a back of a truck was a little weird too.

I have one solution to all of this weirdness.  On your way to your new home, your truck got into a horrible crash and because you were riding in the back of the truck you were flung around and died.  You have not realized that you have died though and  you think that you are actually alive so really when you play through the game you are actually playing through limbo or something like that.
