The worst?! Johto are the best! The worst are probably either Hoenn or Sinnoh, although I'm leaning towards Sinnoh as better. Hoenn did add some neat features that became staples in the next generation, but Sinnoh re-invented it. The online features, the new story, the interesting new Pokemon (although they did go overboard on legendaries...) and the touch screen controls refined a fun series. Hoenn just lacked that major overhaul feel that the others brought... a good major overhaul feel.

Well I never really played the Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald games and only played the newest ones for maybe 30 minutes.
You have to look at it in that context. I have extensively played Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold and Silver, and that's the context I meant the statement in.

I would say the 4th gen pokemon(the ones from sinnoh).Well,who makes Pokemon based off of food?Cherubi?Besides,they just made remakes of the first gen pokemon.For example,Starly is like Pidgey because it evolves 3 times and ends up as a flying/normal.Pichirisu?,I don't think we need another rodent like electric type that doesn't evolve.

my favorite was probably kanto, followed by johto, after those two, there was just too many pokemon, and they started getting lamer, and lamer, and lamer. they were trying too hard. i guess they still appeal to little kids, but i will never buy any new pokemon game.

I don't have a generation of Pokemon that I think was bad. I love it all the same! I do agree with the younger ones being spoiled..They really are. I mean starting out on the newer ones, you skip all the good generations, and you are brought up into the newer, weaker Pokemon. Nothing will ever beat the older ones. I mean the original starters, Mew, Mewtwo, Zapdos, Moltras, and Articuno are some of the best ones around! I love them!

Hm, I've been, at least initially, quite displeased with the looks of the 4th gen Pokemon. It just appeared like they were moving towards a different style, you know...
And somehow, seeing as the old GBC G/S/C cartridges could handle two regions instead of just one, I've been disappointed ever since that all following games didn't have at least two, especially considering how much the systems themselves improved. I am very happy to hear of the G/S remake in part due to that reason X3

Personally, I find the 3rd generation to be the weakest in the series, which given my avatar is a bit ironic. Sure, Absol is my favorite Pokemon, but the good Pokemon are few and far between in 3rd gen.
