Now for the record, I love Sega. And Jet Set Radio. When I found out there was a GBA version, I flipped. I go to the amazing Vizzed to check it out.....and it sucks. The biggest problem is how awkward I felt while playing this diarrhea dump. The controls make me think this game is broken! The turning is sometimes turned around, depending what angle you are facing. Another problem!!! WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY EVER THINK OF USING AN OVERHEAD VIEW?!?!?! I mean, it is hard to make a 3rd person perspective on a system like this, but the graphics can be crap, I don't care. The fact that they are using an overhead view and the graphics suck and sometimes I get stuck between buildings are more then enough to describe this horrid...thing. Pokemon has an overhead view and the graphics are good. Why not this????  It is way to o hard to maneuver your character. Speaking of characters, why do we have the JSRF names on JSR characters??  FAIL! The music makes me wanna hang myself while listening to a cat being punched in the gut while constantly MEOWWWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWING IN MY EAR! They took all the good things about the music and took them out. Let Mom Sleep is the worst. They even took out all the other songs from the game! They actually took out Funky Radio. Wow.  I still feel like playing this game just for one reason.... I don't have the actual game. I just have a Jet Set Radio demo. It is still a bit addictive on its own.  Now finally, the depth. Very deep. You can grind, tag, flip, trick and dance very awfully when you stand still. This game is a nice little adventure and it is fun trying to get the icons....not. I may have been harsh on this game. But I just gotta be because Nintendo messed up Sega's work! Stupid THQ. Thanks for reading and peace!!!

You expected the game boy to be up to par with a DS game? You are very much mistaken...
That was the best they could do with that sort of coding so Don't complain... nothing ever beats the original.

The game boy ADVANCE. And when did I ever mention DS? And they could have done better with the controls at least. But yeah . 

You implied that a handheld device could match up to a console at those times... thus I said the only a DS could possibly have done the game just (on a Nintendo handheld anyway)

OOOOOHHHHH. Yeah good point. But I wanted the game to be a 3rd person view, but with bad graphics. I am no prof. of gaming, but I thought it was possible to pull that off with vector-style graphics. Vector is like basically no graphics, but just lines. 

Fattie54 : First of all, I can tell you have been inspired by AVGN...which isn't a good thing in this case. Saying things like "Diarrhea Dump" and trying to copy his "I would rather do, this than (this)" style doesn't really add anything to your review. It just makes it seem like you are trying to copy someone elses' review style. We have enough AVGN clones wandering around the internet, we don't need any more.

I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm just saying use your own style.

As far as the actual game itself goes. You should automatically know that a GBA game wasn't going to be as good as a Dremcast game. Plain and simple. Not only are there less buttons on a GBA but you have a lower resolution screen and speakers that cannot run the type of Dolby Stereo sound that the DC could produce.

I don't agree with comparing this game to a Pokemon game is a good comparison to make. Totally different types of games. You probably should have compared it to another action type game.

Also NINTENDO didn't produce this game. It was created by Vicarious Visions, the developers of the numerous Tony Hawk Pro Skater GBA games. It was PUBLISHED by THQ.

You might want to space your text out a little bit to make it easier to read. Bigger Paragraphs like this turn off the reader. As well as writing things like "I don't feel like talking about the story."

Keep trying though! You will find your own voice!
