There are so many beautiful songs in the Legend of Zelda. I was very moved by the Skyward Sword theme, and the Song of Healing; Twilight Princess's extension of the Serenade of Water was just heavenly, and the Deku Palace was upbeat and regal at the same time. However, my all-time personal favorite would have to be a three-way tie between the following:

-Midna's Desperate Hour, for the haunting piano phrasing;
-Saria's Song (and the Sacred Grove version in TP), for its whimsy;
-Song of Storms, because it really does remind me of rainwater.

Kind of surprised I hadn't replied in this thread....

There are many songs I like but the few that stand out to me atm are the Gerudo Valley theme, the opening credits theme from TWW, Laruto half of the TWW main theme, pretty much every warp song ever(except for Nocturne of Shadow... I still find that place creepy), and I guess the one you would, more or less, call the main theme of the series.

This is a really hard decision to make, because I am a big fan of both Zelda and its music. I'd have to go with the battle against Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time. There's just something about the music that fits so well with Ganondorf's character, that I can't contain myself. It's mysterious, but it also gets you ready for the battle against the one who caused you all the pain in that Water Temple.
