Hello, sorry to bother you all with such a trivial question, but my Vizzed emulators are not sized right. The thing is, I've re-installed the Vizzed game room, tried CTRL 0, and tried to zoom out, but my vizzed emulators for my GBC and GBA pokemon games cut off the bottom of the screen. It's as if it's not sized right. I was wondering what I should do in an attempt to correct this problem. Thank you for your time!

xxshinigamilxx : Does this happen for all systems or just Gameboy and GBA? If you have indeed tried everything you stated with regards to troubleshooting then I would suggest trying to use the Mednafen emulator.

This is done by opening the game like you normally would, then click the link in the upper left hand corner of the game window labeled: "Play Using Mednafen"

Please let me know if you have any further issues.

Sorry to bug you again, it seems to only happen with my GB/GBA games. I have Pokémon Rebirth, Pokémon Crystal, and Pokémon Gold. They're all cut-off at the bottom. I tried using Mednafan with Pokémon Rebirth and it says "The Internal Battery has run dry..." I honestly don't know what to due, I think this site is amazing, but I can't experience it to the fullest with the bottom of the screen cut off. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thank you and have a great day!

xxshinigamilxx : Pokemon rebirth works with Mednafen the issue is that this is a "Hack" title and for whatever reason they way they programmed the game is not compatible with that emulator.

You can try to play it without the clock based events like the game says because the game does allow you to continue.

You shouldn't have a problem playing other pokemon titles with Mednafen.

Unfortunatly there isn't much I can do to help your issue with Visual Boy advance if Uninstalling/re-installing doesn't help, nor changing browsers.

Some users report issues with that emulator depending on a number of factors and there isn't much we can do until the RGR plugin developer fixes the way the plugin interacts with the Emulator. Your only option is to use the optional Mednafen emulator like I previously spoke about.

I'm curious what this looks like exactly. Is there any way you could take a screenshot of the window and post it for me to look at? Seeing the issue itself may help me figure out a solution. Otherwise, I'm just stabbing in the dark.

As Mednafen probably doesn't have a real-time clock set like VBA does so all games that rely on it won't track time properly (this goes for Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and hacks of them).

I managed to Print-Screen a photo of Pokémon Rebirth to a word document, but I haven't the faintest idea how to post it on here. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I have the photo ready. I just need to post it.

xxshinigamilxx : Make sure the image is in .jpg format (makes it easier) then upload it to a site like photobucket. Then copy the URL for Forums that is listed under the image after it is done uploading.

Then paste it into a reply here.

When you print screen, don't put it in Word. Paste it to MS Paint instead and save it as an image file through there. Then you can upload it to the image hosting site of your choice and link it here. Word documents aren't gonna do you any good.

xxshinigamilxx : Tell me something, does the screen do this whenever you load a GBA game, or only after you move the window around?

Also keep in mind that the default GBA emulator does not support full-screen.

I only did full screen as to not show the world my desktop. Even if I load the GBA emulator up in small-screen mode, it still does this. Perhaps I should just un install my Vizzed Retro Game Room again and choose to delete all my data?

xxshinigamilxx : You could do that as long as you don't mind losing your save data, just so you can delete your config settings file.

I have the feeling that's not going to fix your problem though, but I could be wrong. I guess it's worth a try if you don't really care about your saves.

The reason I asked about full screen, moving the screen is because the only way I can re-create that issue is by moving around the screen, BUT once I activate the game window again it goes back to normal. I also noticed you were using Firefox which is always what I used on Vizzed, so that shouldn't be a problem either. Just for interests sake though, have you tried another browser like Chrome to see if the same thing happens?

Thank you for all your help. Yes, I am using Fire fox, and I happen to be on a laptop, perhaps that has something to do with it? My next step is to go into the chat room and attempt to find someone who has encountered the same problem consistently. I really want to play some GBA games on here, but this whole mess I've gotten myself in to isn't helping.

Try downloading the new plugin (2.0) and installing that and seeing if it helps. It probably won't... but who knows? It's a better first thing to try than deleting everything.

Could try maybe setting your monitor's screen resolution to a higher or lower setting.

tRIUNE : This doesn't strike me as a resolution issue. I guess it's hard to say for certain since I've never seen it do something like that before... but I would think that the resolution wouldn't come into play unless the Vizzed window is physically getting cut off (as in the actual browser window box goes off screen). This is the emulation window getting cut off by the browser window.

It might just be a Fire Fox issue that I'm having, I downloaded Google Chrome and it works flawlessly. Thank you guys for all your help, I guess my Fire Fox browser just doesn't agree with the Vizzed emulators.
