Sonic in a car? It's not as bad as it sounds. The graphics are actually really good, having almost a pre-rendered look, utilizing the game gear's hardware really well. The music is standard, floaty and forgettable stuff, nothing great. The game takes place in various locales from Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis. As for the gameplay, well, it's just a standard kart racer, with Sonic. Despite being pretty run of the mill, though, I found myself enjoying it regardless. By the way, though it was only released in Japan initially, the game is entirely in English, so there's nothing to worry about if you're curious to try it. Overall, it's nothing special, but an alright game nonetheless.
