Ok lets start by saying that if you give this game a chance it is a lot of fun. Its one of the great "movie games" it has an interesting story and while by today's standards is not graphically amazing for its time it was unbelievably cool. However the lack of knowing what score can get your game ended with no warning is extremely annoying. Or that missing a single turn can sometimes mean nothing and other times mean game over. Lack of defined or even loose goals to reach are frustrating at best. And the recharge stations that are scattered about are extremely frustrating as reaching on only provides 50% chance of energy because one direction leads to recharge the other leads to nothing. Also the most annoying thing is there is no save system at all. Even the vizzed saves don't work so you can be playing for 20.30 minis or even an hour or more perfect and then make one mistake and have to start back at square one. That is also a point that the game is very unforgiving on mistakes in general. I have no problem with this however being unable to fix the mistake as it changes game to game becomes quite annoying. It is a lot of fun though and I am sure when vizzed gets the save state issue fixed it will be awesome. There arent many things in the world quite like shooting giant rats with teeth the size of rulers with a huge flying sewer scraper held together with duct tape and spit. The voice acting isn't the best but its gonna make you laugh (at least the first couple times). It does really have that part in a movie feel to it. Most people who owned a Sega cd knew this game as it came with each new system. I know that I have a much easier time playing today than I did back then. Except at the end of my playing days I would get near the end before a crash or being made to resign. I am sure I am just a bit rusty after 20 years lol. Anyway like I said give it a few tries don't give up read up on some strategy and send a message to the big bosses to please try and fix the Sega cd save state system. If that is all worked out I promise you will have one hell of a good time with this game. So get on in there rat breath just please don't breath in my direction
