All Sonic fans will know how to play, and beat, Sonic 1 the original version. But in this hack, you have to complete all levels (but the final boss) backwards. That means you start from the end point and work your way to the start. The order of zones is still the same as the original, but you complete a level in this game by travelling from right to left, as opposed to left to right as in most Sonic the Hedgehog games. Because of that, the difficulty will be slightly higher, and the time to complete the entire game a lot higher. This Sonic hack still contains features that are the same as the original version, so Sonic won't be able to spin, and the music and sound effects are also the same. But as for the boss levels, you must beat Doctor Eggman at the beginning, and release all the trapped animals at the end, except for the final boss level, which remains the same. So this game is tougher than the original, but more interesting. Be sure to know your path from the original Sonic the Hedgehog 1 game, so you know where to go travelling backwards.

This feels a bit awkward to play since I'm use to going, y'know, right. Going left feels pretty mirrored, but its an interesting hack. I like it, just a bit weird to play.
