Street Fighter Alpha : Warrior's Dream is an unbelivable game. The graphics are top notch, the background music is nostalgic, and the characters have all their signature moves. It's just like they ported this game from the arcades and made it portable. The only drawback is that there is no multiplayer, but it's that kind of game that can live without it.
Since the game boy color only has A and B buttons, here's how to execute a weak and strong attack : tap the button quickly to execute a light attack, and press it longer for a strong attack. It might get some time to get used to,but hey,no pain no gain, right? I should also say that it's easier to execute special moves in this game, and even if you can't pull it off, there is still auto mode, where you just have to press A+B in order to unleash your devastating super combo.
The game features 8 levels of difficulty, and you can change the game's speed. There is also a training mode where you can practice your combos, and there are three secret characters in this game. I'll give you a hint : do you see that "?" down there? Well, use it a lot of times.
If you're looking for a fighting game on the GBC,this is it. You will waste hours on this trying to pull off wicked combos .I should even say, this game has more combos than the console ones. This is due to the fact that you can connect a weak attack into a strong attack, and then into a special, and maybe into a super combo. This opens up endless possibilities. Play it,and you'll see what i'm talking about. Now,it's time to Street Fight!
