Reading your post really made me smile and I appreciate people like you being out in the world I wish there were more of you. I would say I like muffins better. My daughter likes cupcakes. Although I do have a gluten allergy so my girlfriend gets upset when I eat anything with wheat she refuses to have any sympathy if I get sick if I eat wheat loll I figure its fair.

Haha it's okay. It's not hard to be open minded and to perhaps use a bit of common sense

As for your girlfriend.. I'd probably do the same thing.. especially if it affects stuff like.. Being able to breath clean air lol

Very informative. I myself am Agnostic-Atheist, and people often misinterpret what that means. Agnosticism isn't a religion, but simply a way of life. It is being able to differentiate between believing in something and claiming to know. Personally, I feel that general Atheists or Theists are close-minded; if you claim to know what you believe is a fact without physically being able to prove it beyond written or verbal affirmation, not only will people not take you seriously, but believing that you are undoubtedly right generally means you view other opinions as wrong. Many people fail to realize that you can be both Agnostic and Atheist/Theist at the same time. Agnostic-Theist simply means that you believe in a higher power, but acknowledge that through faith you claim to have no certainty. On the other hand, Agnostic-Atheist means that you believe that, do to lack of substantial physical evidence, there are no specific 'Gods', but still acknowledge that Theism could be true (anything is possible, but those which lack evidence tend to be less probable).

So, me being who I am, I don't necessarily believe that gay marriage is wrong in the eyes of God; I can't prove that it is, nor can I even prove that specific God exists. I think that people are born who they are supposed to be, regardless of being good or evil. It may be instilled in someone to act in a certain way, but it is up to them whether or not they take part in it. Personally, I see nothing heathenous or wrong about being gay; if two consenting adults love each other, then I think it is great you found it. There are religions that speak against it, but my argument is always, "If the creator of the universe didn't mean for homosexuality to exist, then why are there animals that exhibit homosexual tendencies, and why are there people who are born genderless?"

But yeah, I don't mean to go off-topic; I support gays and people's right to their beliefs, and your information is very useful. Sorry if I hijacked your thread a bit there in the beginning, I just meant to give insight that I know where you are coming from.

I don't think you hijacked my thread at all I welcome anyone like yourself to post intelligent insightful and accurate information. Its the whole reason I wanted to have this thread in the first place. I think that sometimes we don't realize that there are people out there that do have a brain and think for themselves. It always makes me smile when anything I do promotes healthy and friendly discussions that can assist to enlighten others. I hope that people read your post and gain better insight into you and people like you. My real hope is that perhaps someone who carries a negative or incorrect view of anyone get the right information and is able to continue from that point on with a better understanding of other people. Feel free to post whenever you like your always welcome. I hope to see more of your thoughts.
