I am fine, down south on the east  coast   it is cold, last night some of the wind blew down my Halloween stuff, and my lap top's fan is working at 50% to 75% and I am battling a cold. "Sandy" wise I am fine..

I remember when I was living near New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina was coming. My heart goes out to those that are caught in the path of Hurricane Sandy.

My power is still on shockingly

I had called the animal rescue and apparently the tree fell on the barn on the other side of the street. Isnt that much damage and the animals are not hurt so that is very good

Still raining a lot. Same goes for the wind. But it is said it will get worse but then again it wasnt so bad last night, I will still be on the look out for how the storm is

The cats we took in slept with me in my room so they were alright trough the storm and they seem to be eating well

Hopeing things are alright for all the others who have been in sandy's way. And my condolences to the people who have been and died from her/it

Everyone stay safe and i hope for the best for all of you who have to experience it

Death toll is up to 38 last I heard. Things are okay here in western PA, we got some wind, good deal of rain, and it's pretty chilly... but I haven't been hearing of any power outages in the area. Overall though, I am shocked at how much damage this storm did in New York and New Jersey. Have you guys seen that crane?!

Lost power for the last two and a half days. It was terribly painful to me as I suffered some technology withdrawal. I had charged my Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS for preparation, but they started dying last night, worrying me. Even cracked out my old Game Boy advanced SP and even the original in case I needed to go battery operated! Started reading a book series my sister wanted me to check out too

Not only was I asked to work hours before the hurricane on Monday but have been working the last few days despite so many traffic lights not having power (making it scary to cross), entire neighborhoods in complete darkness (making driving home at night in said areas kind of creepy), and a curfew in our area in effect (thus if we got pulled over, we could be fined just because we had to go to work). There were many people that did not come in this week at all, and they have been smart not to either; I do not believe they can be penalized for not coming in this week due to so many power outages and floods. Also, we hardly have accomplished much; we get there, do nothing for an hour or two because things are not working right, start working for a short while but then things stop working, and then in the final hour or so we get that little bit of real work. I appreciate getting paid for nearly doing nothing and all, but seems also like a waste of time.

I am just so glad to have my power back now, though a little scared they may need to take it down again. I am glad some people are safe here, and hope many others are all right and did not suffer much.
